These guys have the answers; http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php My limited understanding is that if you bought the sks with the bayo already attached and bought it before the 922r laws took place you are ok. Many SKS's were imported w/o the bayo which was a fine Clinton law that protected us all from the dangers of the bayonet. Apparently, attaching a bayo would then violate the law.
