learn2flyfish 0
Hi guys, I've noticed that some are converting their Saiga .308's to a SVD, PSL looking rifle. What is involved in this? Is is mainly a parts swap or is there more involved? Any range reports? Can they be had from the factory with a thumbhole stock? Thanks, Paul Edited August 15, 2008 by learn2flyfish

learn2flyfish 0
Very Cool. That's one super nice rifle. I was looking at the Thumbhole version that is offered at Centerfire Systems. That looks like a pretty big price jump just for a thumbhole. Do these Saiga rifles come with a scope mount? If so, which one (AK, SVD, etc). I've some interest but I'm now ready to spend some money. Besides buying the rifle, where should I start? kresk 10,063
Saigas routinely come with an AK scope rail. If you're keen on the thumbhole stock of some type other common sense considerations would be the hand guards, muzzle attachment, ?bipod, and scope.
