Koliadko 207 Posted October 13, 2008 Report Share Posted October 13, 2008 REMEMBER OUR TROOPS Operation: S.A.M. has become a "Lifeline" to our deployed troops and this year will be no different. The troops need to be remembered especially during this Holiday Season. It is so important they are not forgotten during these trying times. How you can help: Ask your friends, supporters, groups, churches, fellow employees, schools, Scout troops, neighbors and their friends to take a few minutes to write a letter/card or ask the children to make homemade cards or art work. SAM will fill Santa socks with these cards/letters and send them to our troops and CSH hospitals along with Holiday Comfort Packages filled with goodies. (Please do not seal the envelopes) A drive for funds or goods, that would be even better. Refer to www.operationsam.org for a list. Many groups such as ourselves have had to discontinue their missions but we have made our commitment not to give up on our community and our supporters. We may have to scale down what we can send but we will send all of them something along with our best wishes and prayers. We can't do this without everyone making their best effort to help on this important mission. Cards/letters or funds can be sent to Operation: S.A.M., P. O.
