Doc S 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Report Share Posted December 9, 2008 As already stated, they're used in place of the Shephards Crook to hold your hammer and trigger pins from coming out of your receiver. Dinzag has a nice PDF on the installation of the FCG on his page. check it out. Cross Conn over complicates the conversion with the FCG since they use a double/single hook AK FCG.
