jklein_1968 0
I am a new Saiga .223 owner. I have run about 50 rounds through my rifle using the open sights. I was impressed with its accuracy so I picked up an 8 x 42 PSOP scope set up. I find that the longer fixed stock that came on the rifle is fine when using open sights. The problem is I don't have proper eye relief on the scope when I shoulder using the original stock. I essentially have to take the rifle out of pocket and creep up to get a good scope picture. It seems to me that if the stock was around 3 to 4 inches shorter It would be just right. Looking at a Romy G stock from a kit it seems that the Warsaw length stock would give me the right eye relief. I'm not sure if the Romy G stock would fit the .223 receiver without having to trim the stock some. (I need the stock for the build when I get around to it. ) If I pick up a KVAR US made Warsaw Pact length stock will I run into 922r compliance problems? I'm assuming this stock is about the same length as the Romy G but stock. I really just want a shorter fixed stock and don't much care if this rifle has a pistol grip. Thoughts and advice much appreciated. Thanks Jim
