Just back from the range with stock S12

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

Just got back from the range. This is my second time shooting my 109

and the first attempt with low brass.

Remington 7 1/2 and 8 shot.

The gun functioned perfectly one setting 1. No FTE's at all.

I have been reading so much about malfunctions lately that I wanted to let anyone on the fence about getting

a Saiga to not worry. This is a quality built, reliable shotgun.

Maybe I just got lucky and picked one up that was built just right by I don't think so. My luck doesn't work that way.

I almost have all the parts for my restoration and can't wait to get at it.

I could not be happier with this gun.

I think he means restoration to it's proper......pistol gripped...... configuration. As opposed to the abortion of a trigger linkage it came with so as to be "sporting".

NEWS FLASH........The 2nd Amendment doesn't give a fuck about sporting.......it gives a fuck about tyrannical governments......like we seem to have on our hands now that we live in the Obamanation.

You are correct sir.

I choose to call it a restoration, not a conversion.

Waiting on Krebs sights and that's about it. I have all the other necessary parts.

parts for restoration of a stock IZ109? what am I missing?

Anyway, so far mine has been nothing but trouble and for the money I have into it, it's frustrating. Still it will be worth it in the end once all the kinds are worked out.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with yours. Maybe I did just get lucky.

I call moving the trigger back to where it should be a restoration instead of conversion.
