David Mark 2,452
Hey All, Just got back from the range. This is my second time shooting my 109 and the first attempt with low brass. Remington 7 1/2 and 8 shot. The gun functioned perfectly one setting 1. No FTE's at all. I have been reading so much about malfunctions lately that I wanted to let anyone on the fence about getting a Saiga to not worry. This is a quality built, reliable shotgun. Maybe I just got lucky and picked one up that was built just right by I don't think so. My luck doesn't work that way. I almost have all the parts for my restoration and can't wait to get at it. I could not be happier with this gun.
Wheel 0
parts for restoration of a stock IZ109? what am I missing? Anyway, so far mine has been nothing but trouble and for the money I have into it, it's frustrating. Still it will be worth it in the end once all the kinds are worked out. 49gmc 3
I think he means restoration to it's proper......pistol gripped...... configuration. As opposed to the abortion of a trigger linkage it came with so as to be "sporting". NEWS FLASH........The 2nd Amendment doesn't give a fuck about sporting.......it gives a fuck about tyrannical governments......like we seem to have on our hands now that we live in the Obamanation. Waiting on Krebs sights and that's about it. I have all the other necessary parts. Yahoo

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with yours. Maybe I did just get lucky. I call moving the trigger back to where it should be a restoration instead of conversion.
