Gas Piston Removal/Reinstallation and Other Items

Recommended Posts

Guys,

When you completed the conversion process to make the saiga's legal how did you remove the gas piston pin. I used a hammer and punch and a few words to get mine out but destroyed the pin in the process. I cleaned the threads and then applied the red thread locker to the threads. The gas piston was a tapco product not having the hole drilled through it. Is there an easier way?

Has anyone installed the tapco saw pistol grip on their rifle and if so, how. All I received with my grip was the grip, a 1.5" screw, a 1"x1/2 plate and a washer. Is there more?

Anyone know how to remove the rear site from the rear site base?

Thanks in Advance for Assistance
