ArnoldRot 0
I'm looking to purchase an already converted Saiga 12.. I got a quote from Firearmspro.com about a month ago and am now trying to order but I'm having trouble getting a hold of them. How long is reasonable to expect to hear back after leaving voicemails and emails? Also, are there other similarly priced companies that can do this? I'm looking ito spend about $1000 (no more than $1100). My quote through them was ~$1000 and included: S12 itself, converted(move trigger, add pistol grip, new adjustable stock, refinish exposed metal where old trigger was), Gas port process (so that s12 will cycle cheapo ammo), gunfixers plug to give it 5 adjustable settings instead of 2, and shipped to my FFL. Can other companies compare with that price? Please give me some suggestions. Also, my local gun store offers S12's for $579 right now. I considered purchasing that and then doing the conversion myself, but I dont want to mess with the gas ports on my own and I want to be able to cycle all types of ammo. Thanks for any advice. Dude, if you can pick up one for $579 at your local store right now BUY IT. In fact, if I were you, I'd buy two and sell one on gunjoker for $750. Keep in mind, the newer S12's seem to have no gas port issues. But still, it's covered under guarantee. So it's reall yno big deal. ArnoldRot 0
GAT Guns out of Elgin, IL is selling them for $579. I'm not sure how many they have in stock. They're an FFL as well, so give them a call and order away! Firearmspro just got back to me and I'm going to go with them for the purchase. Brian (PFI) explained that they've been crazy lately and is having someone call later today to confirm my order. They seem to have very reasonable prices. Has anyone purchased from them before? I can't find any reviews online..
