THEMRMITCH 3
No trouble with my Saiga 12.....until today. Sigh. Have NOT cleaned since I got it......kinda seeing what will clog. Nothing bad in about 400+ rounds til today. Fires, ejects and chambers just fine. THEN....trigger hangs and won't back off hammer unti I FORCEFULLY kinda "snap" finger from trigger. Only way I know to put it. Oiled the crap outta it and trigger works fine most times. Feels weak though. Question is......is it just getting sluggish from dirt or is trigger spring weak? No problem to clean....just didn't expect this problem. Thanks. I love this thing and she's a keeper. Edited July 2, 2011 by TheMrMitch
gpqueen 545
Normally that is caused from the spring arms not sitting correctly on the back of the trigger. Make sure the arms are sitting even on the very back of the trigger so it pushes it back down to resest. One arm may be pushed off towards the middle and a small bend in the arm will keep it in place.
THEMRMITCH 3
Spring(s) seems OK. I now think hammer/trigger developed a burr. Oiled real good and ran a file over it. Methinks she'll be fine. I hope. Thanks for info. It does feel a lot more sturdy. Methinks dirt was culprit also. Will test Sunday.
