Erocku 0
I was going to place an order for some Ironwood furniture to go onto my Saiga conversion. I saw he has a special section for Saiga rifles, but the only option for the lower handguards has that ugly bulge. I'd like to get a flat sided lower handguard. I'll be using the saiga-ak.com lower handguard retainer that says it can take any standard AK handguards. Have any of you used an Ironwood flat sided lower handguard on your Saiga conversion? forceflow17 16
I dont have one, but it seems to me that since the Ironwood furniture is unfinished, you could just take the lower handguard to a belt sander until you get the desired shape.
Erocku 0
Well, they sell "hungarian style" flat sided ones, so I would like to just buy one that's already flat. Just wondering if they'd fit without having to do alot of work.
