FYI: Your comp is upside down. The way you have it mounted increases muzzle flip.

The hole in the center faces down? How woud that help?

I would think that with the hole facing up, like every other comp i've seen allows gases to vent up thus creating downward thrust agaisnt the barrel combating muzzle flip.

Think of each slot or hole as a rocket nozzle. You are thrusting your barrel Forward and up. You want to be thrusting forward and down: the opposite of muzzle flip and recoil.

So then yea its on right.

If the hole faced down it would create upward thrust. The slots point UP and back.. makes sense.
