I would think that with the hole facing up, like every other comp i've seen allows gases to vent up thus creating downward thrust agaisnt the barrel combating muzzle flip. Quote Link to comment
gunfun 3,931 Posted October 21, 2012 Report Think of each slot or hole as a rocket nozzle. You are thrusting your barrel Forward and up. You want to be thrusting forward and down: the opposite of muzzle flip and recoil. Quote Link to comment
