Scribe an angle so that it sits level with the floor of the receiver with safety in the "off" position. Cut with skinny wheel, deburr with file & radius corners.
Not shown: clamp the piece in place and mark where the rivets should go. Place each rivet on a scribe line 3/16" from an edge for uniformity.
Punch marks and drill with 1/8" cobalt bit.
