Modded Mags
A photo I took to illustrate something for someone else. I had a pair of Mec-Gar 15s and the unkown-make 14 the pistol came with, and to give my magazinr capacity an even count of 50 I looked into the Pearce +2 baseplates (which are advertized as working for SIG and Beretta mags, but will not work with CZ units). The plastic inserts Pearce provided to retain the baseplates on the mags were crap, and did not work with the Mec-Gar 15-round spring, nor even with the narrow-style spring in the 14-rounder. So I bought some strip brass and made a new insert to work. Reassembled, the mags now hold 18 rounds each.
