Cobra (or anybody else that knows), I'm guessing you can get two kinds of Ace stock folding adapters. One is external and one is internal? Is that correct? What are the pros and cons of both? I imagine the internal one requires some handiwork to the backplate, etc?
Correct. The external block just screws on and IMO looks like crap--it just doesn't look right (too long.) The internal block requires a little cutting and welding but gives a much more professional and correct appearance.
Anyone have photos showing both adapters? And what length ACE stocks would one need to have the length of pull like the factory stock?
P.S I am sorry if this is not the right thread for this question. I do not want to hijack. Mods move if it is

Not sure what kind of work you want to do to your shottie but I would wait for Tonys new trigger guard and then it should be uber easy ........ plus the trigger guard is always the part that makes it look a bit homemade, well with mine anyway. Tonys new guard looks really bad ass. I thinkI am like a Charlie Brown with a drill but its not hard at all.
Hi Johnny,
That looks just like I want. I will most likely go with the SAW type grip as that is what is on my AK. I will go to Tony's site and see about this new trigger guard.
Thanks Russ

Hi everyone, Do you know anyone who can do a basic pistol grip conversion on my S-12. I am in the hampton Roads/ Tidewater area of Virginia. I have looked at doing it myself, but it is a hair outside of my comfort zone.
Thanks Russ

They are roll crimped and so they are almost 3in long. They work well in my 5 and 10 rd mags but nay be too long for a drum. They are made in Germany
