  1. I decided to file down the mag latch a couple nights ago. I took a Romanian 30 round mag and tried to install it. Saw what needed to be filed and grabbed my bastard file and went to work. After a few minutes, and a few checks with the mag, it worked. I ordered some Romanian mags from AIM surplus this week and due to the back order, they sent me brand new Bulgarian mags. Took them out of the bags and tried them out. Two out the four fit snug but the other two didn't fit. Looks like I need to file a little more. Has anyone else experienced this problem with these mags?
  2. Ordered the Tapco G2 FCG today, along with a couple of other parts. Can't wait to start!
  3. Thanks for the response! Think I'll just stick with the single hook.
  4. I've seen single and double hook trigger groups online and am about to order a trigger group. But I'm confused. Do I need to take that trigger plate thingy off to see if I need a single or double hook? Or can I just get away with using a single hook even if my reciever is a double? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
  5. In order for me to do the conversion, which parts should I get? (Also to comply with 922) -G2 trigger group -bullet guide -butt stock -pistol grip -pistol grip screw/nut kit What else?

  8. How easy is it? I'm not that mechanical...minded. I've seen the conversion on that one website.......
  9. Thanks 22 Shooter for the advice!
  10. Tried centerfire.com and got some domain website. Got a direct link for that ammo? Think I should do the G2 (think thats right) trigger kit.
  11. No, its a x39. I know the difference. The mag looks like a 20 round mag, sure is long for being a 10 rounder. I'll double check.
  12. Evening folks! I've been lurking on here for a little bit since I ordered my Saiga. I finally got it today and to my surprise, it came with a 20 round mag. I'm quite happy with it and am glad I got it. Now, after reading several posts, I'm gonna order the bullet guide even though I have a 20 round mag with it. I'm also gonna change the butt stock to something more of a pistol style but I'm not that mechanical so I'm just gonna get that Saiga one. I look forward into some good conversations with everyone on here. I've read quite alot on here and have learned a few things! I do have
