  1. I own a SBS Saiga 12 and had it cutdown and modified by another smith who is known for doing good work, but after handling a tromix krink saiga 12 there is no comparison. I only waited a week to have my saiga work completed but understand why Tromix is so desireable. I now am going to send it to Tromix and let the saiga master complete her. If Tony didnt put his expertise into every gun Tromix would be just another smith who works on Saiga 12's with a 7 day turnaround time..
  2. I am curios about the impending AWB and how this will effect waiting times for Tromix and others if passed into law. Thanks,,,
  3. I had the original handguard modified to fit the gun when it was shortened only after I bought the Tromix shorty handguard and found that it wouldnt fit . I should have waited and sent it to Tromix. Is this something that Tromix masters could fix or am I up a creek..? Thanks..
  4. It looks to be just one big one. I'll try and get a better pic tomorrow of the gas port hole. Is there any way to correct this ? Thank you for your help ..Dave
  5. I'm going to load up my drum with 00 buck tomorrow and see if it runs better 'longer' before it needs to be cleaned. I just like being able to shoot the cheap stuff without having to stop and clean after every 30 rounds. Have you heard of any fixes for a overly large gas port? Thanks...
  6. I have a registered 8 inch short barreled shotgun Saiga 12 . I had all the work done by a 'professional' and love the way it looks but am a little upset over its reliability. It functions perfectly with the walmart bird shot for about 30 rounds and then starts to have problems ejecting shells. After unscrewing the gas cap and cleaning out the gas port and puck it functions perfectly for another 30 rounds then starts failing to eject. My question is could the gas port be to big and is letting to much grim and gunk inside the gas chamber, which would clog up the gas port/ system ? While cleaning
  7. Sent it out for modifications and not sure what was done other then the gas hole enlarged. Runs perfectly on setting 2 using birdshot but after around 30 or 40 rounds shells dont eject . When I take off the gas cap to clean inside it's already almost full of gunk even after just 40 rounds.
  8. I have a registered sbs Saiga 12 with a 8.5 inch barrel. I have to clean out the gas port after around 40 rounds or else I start getting failure to eject problems. I have had the gas setting on position 2 while firing walmart birdshot and was wondering if setting it on position 1 would decrease the grim clogging the gas port ? I won't be able to get out to shoot until next weekend to try the different setting and was wondering if anyone has this problem.Does a 8.5 inch barrel clog faster then a fullsize ? Weapon runs perfectly when it is clean and I would just like to be able to shoot more rou
  9. I have a pistol grip converted saiga 12 with a Ace folding stock attached. I would like to replace the ace stock with a triangular side folder. How much work would be needed to attach the triangular stock or will it even work? Thanks..
  10. I have just got my approved form 1 back from atf. Now i need someone to cut down barrel to 10 inches and thread and make gas port system adjustments as necessary to function and engrave if possible. Would like to have a quick turnaround time . Any help would be much appreciated.....
