  1. I bought 2 rifles a while back - around $400 each unconverted.  I converted them....and of course Obummer banned them from import.  I knew the prices would go up, and they did.  But they came back down.  I went to check on the market-place because Century Arms is having an auction for one on their web page - their auction is up to $1500 already for a converted Saiga!  I went to gunbroker and looked - they are all pretty much around that price range.  DAMN!  I thought with Trump in office prices would come back down - I guess not!

  2. The problem with that nice machining job is quantity.  How many of these things can they crank out with machining like that?  That's why Mother Russia was able to pump these things out left and right - not A+ quality like you see above.  Also makes me wonder if the prices will be higher considering that better build quality as well.

`No, why dont you post in one of the MANY threads that is already running about the Sanction please.  THere are many. NO need to start more.

That may require reading the threads completelyhaha.gif

Hey AssJacks - I did read those threads. There was only a few BRIEF mentions as to which specific brands may be impacted. Why not have a comprehensive listing?

  4. The Importation of Defense Articles and Defense Services — U.S. Munitions Import List references executive orders, amends ATF regulations and clarifies Attorney General authority “to designate defense articles and defense services as part of the statutory USML for purposes of permanent import controls,” among other clauses specified in heavy legalese requiring commensurate analysis to identify just what the administration’s intentions are. Among the speculations of what this could enable are concerns that importing and International Traffic in Arms Regulations [iTAR] may go forward to reflect key elements within the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”[Emphasis added.]

  5. I have plenty stashed. Its not mythical, just everything is dried up right now. It will be back eventually we hope.

Although in the mean time some folks are trading it 1k for 2k HPs Pm me if you want to know where to start. 018.gif

I've also stashed some away, just want to acquire more, in case the feds decide to tax it or make internet orders illegal.

  6. Locking up is not a function test, Load the mag full, then drop it on the floor, 3 feet will do.

Then put it in the rifle and empty the mag, then report how you like them.

Will do - and I'll do you one better, I'll video my test. The fact remains though - these mags are cheaper yet more durable than tapco's, promags, or other polymer mags - especially what I paid. As others have noted, they are now going for $36 a piece. Price isn't indicative of quality - but all things considered, not a bad deal at $13 a piece in the current potential ban situation.

  7. I hate to rain on your parade....(hey maybe its exactly what you were after, sometimes you cant beat cheap) But those look pretty cheap and weak. The feed lips are pretty thin. Maybe its just the angle of the picture. But I personally would not pay 13 dollars for those. I would buy the used thicker EU mags. Even if you had to clean and repaint, I think you get a better value for what you get. It may not be much, but you would be surprised how much the slight difference in thickness toughens them up.

I might buy one and do some testing. They look like they would bend and dent very easy.

Doubt that - they are made out of steel, not aluminum. Also considering that most mags are around $20+ now, I consider these a good deal. Good luck finding basically anything right now - all online venues are out unless you want to pay about $40 a mag.
