I bought 2 rifles a while back - around $400 each unconverted. I converted them....and of course Obummer banned them from import. I knew the prices would go up, and they did. But they came back down. I went to check on the market-place because Century Arms is having an auction for one on their web page - their auction is up to $1500 already for a converted Saiga! I went to gunbroker and looked - they are all pretty much around that price range. DAMN! I thought with Trump in office prices would come back down - I guess not!

The problem with that nice machining job is quantity. How many of these things can they crank out with machining like that? That's why Mother Russia was able to pump these things out left and right - not A+ quality like you see above. Also makes me wonder if the prices will be higher considering that better build quality as well.

Have one - love it! Want to get the compact model, someday!

I wish more manufacturers made brakes in 24.5 threads versus 14.1. The options for us are more limited!!!

I thought that Magpul was going to release a steel reinforced version of this mag? I don't see anything on their web site that indicates that.

What they NEED to do is open a full scale wolf type ammo plant here in the states, cranking out 7.62 and 5.56, and REFUSE to take government contracts! That will bring the ammo back to the people, and bring prices back down!!
