Naaa... Maui, Hawaii. Yah... I can't wait to shoot it, worst part is that once I can actually take it to the range, I'll have to restrain myself from shooting more then a mag or two. I need to wait till I can get cheaper ammo in bulk. I bought two cases of SS192, but I wanna keep that stored away. I wish I had common sense and stuck with a caliber or two... but instead I have 5 now and only more to come

Just got everything I needed to put together my AR57. Unfortunately our range day got blown out by 35+ MPH winds today, so I didn't get a change to truly zero it in. But thanks to a Homer Simpson toy at the end of a 15 yard hallway and a couple of looks between the barrel and the optics, I got it close enough for government work. Complete Album

I actually had to slow down my cycle rate because the cheep ammo plus the added weight of the drum was causing FTE's. I'm waiting for my friend to upload a vid he took on his Iphone. Seems like I emptied a 12 round Surefire mag in under a second. Only watched it once though. I was shooting on setting 3. I haven't really messed around with different ammunition, so far the only two rounds I've put thru it are Winchester heavy game load #8 and Winchester 2-3/4" 1oz slugs. Used setting 1- for the slugs and 3 for the game load.

Are you living in Ohio? If so, they are apparently having problems with their computer program which figures the sales tax for the individual Ohio counties. Since they are an Ohio-based company, they are required to collect that sales tax. I am in Ohio and am order #40xx, and am still waiting. Naaa... Hawaii. Bummer that you haven't got yours yet It's well worth the wait!

Yah... cycles like a dream! When I'm blowing rounds I use the cheepo Winchester Game Load. The added weight of the drum gave me a lot more FTE's with the low pressure stuff unless I really leaned into it and didn't let it recoil at all. Which leads me to my next topic, Gunfixers Improved Gas Plug. If you don't have one or don't have one on order right now, ORDER IT! I used to always burn myself trying to push in the detent to switch settings on the gas plug, now it's just a click away. Sorry for the delay... stupid life getting in the way Here they are: That was about 100 rounds thru it. As you can see, that lower guide edge has taken a beating. Dunno if it will affect the feeding in the long run. I figure that as it wears down more the shell might rotate upwards more than it should as the bolt strips it out of the mag. Time will tell.

Well what better way to start off the new year then to go to the range and let loose 200+ plus rounds of cheep Winchester Game Load. It's been a rainy December so our range is greener then it's been in a long time: This was supposed to be a torture test for the new SGM mags, but I had some tag alongs: So after 200+ rounds of the cheapest crappiest ammo(I'm sure there's worse, but this is the cheapest stuff on island) I could put thru it. Azrial is referring to federal law, which means any state laws are irrelevant. The question is whether or not a thumbhole stock makes it unsporting by 922® terms... The Mossberg 930 you have pictured is a US made firearm and not subject to any federal laws on imported firearms.
