  1. I ended up just cutting another piece of metal with a smaller opening so the t-nut i have would fit, and it works realy great, thank you for the advice on the saigatech though, I'm working on a .223 convert to. and I'm going to use that for it.
  2. I thought I made my pg cut perfect, was using a faulty ruler when i measured it, beleive it or not they do exist, Its too big to accept anystandard ak t nut. Can I use one of the tromix all in one trigger gaurd pistol grip adapters it seems like it would just fit right over the to large hole?
  3. nope just cut a half inch hole like the guy on cross conn did.
  4. Are there different sizes of Pg nuts? I used cross conn, I cut the PG hole Perfect honestly. But The nut I pulled off one of my old wasr's doesn't fit, its the same pg nut I'm seeing to order online, at least where i'm looking, (its actually tapco) its a normal slanted pg nut, Is it because he uses a saw grip, or is he just wrong, (it looks like a normal ak grip in the convert pictures)
  5. Thanks I was have execting something to come flying out of the receiver after I install it and fire it.
  6. Finished it was a B---H but I got it done and it shoots pretty well. pics to follow.
  7. I went the other way and just carved a new notch so te trigger group rested in their neatly. Thanks for the input though, other than it siting in there nicely is there anything else, extra part or any kinda weird stuff I have to do? (I don't think there is)
  8. Is there anything else I have to do to install a double hook trigger on my 7.62 than etch a groove on the other side of the trigger hole?
  9. Do you think I could get one at a gunshow?
  10. is there anything that I could get at say home depot that will work in the place of a regular pg nut with a regular ak pistol grip? (i already cut the hole) (and will hold up to recoil) or if anyone has spare parts lying around freebies for freebies you know?
  11. I know how stupid this all sounds believe me, I own 2 wasr-2 and I'm pulling all the parts i need off of one of them and I really just want to have one of those monster projects that frustrates the hell out of you lying around. I work for a private security corporation and have access to just about every smithing tool you've ever heard and some you haven't. I put all my cash into stupid stuff like this I guess that makes me an idiot. Thanks for the list Dave I didn't think about the ejector weld Appreciate the feedback.
  12. Awesome, that doesn't look excruciatingly painful I'll give it a go.
  13. haha appreciate it, I won't listen to anyone with 6 posts anymore, Sorry about wasting your time fellas.
  14. The one I could find was here http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=28402 nailer007 said his bent so bad he sold it for parts, I have read 3 other instances but they are so far back I can't find the threads, sorry about that just don't care enough to go find them but i wasn't just pulling this out of my ass.
  15. OK awesome I have read three or four instances on this forum of distortion, I'm glad to hear none of you have, or have experienced it. Appreciate the feedback.
