  1. In the picture, it looks like the retaining clip for the front latch could be interfering with the magazine port. Perhaps angle it so that it is more inside of the receiver away from the magazine port.

Yeah if you put the retaining clip on from inside the mag well. Pull it back out, take off the hand gaurd and install it from the front of the receiver.

  2. Got my tracking info yesterday, but of course USPS is slow as usual keeping the site updated. :D

How do you adjust elavation and windage?

In the other thread he said the windage is adjusted by the rear sight, I'm guessing you'd need to do something with the front post for elevation.

  3. Yeah that does suck nothing is happening with this idea, at least it seems that way.

The video is a bit ridiculous, but it is a cool concept, already long in the works though, they just don't look like that.

Agree 100% on the video, should of used a mag and shouldered it. If the double stacks mags come out they would be great for this.

+1 on the concept, I really like the looks of the one on the home page, hope they can come out with it.

  4. The main issues with 308 & 762 NATO is with the H&K and CETME rifles, they have a fluted chamber and since 308 has a thinner case they can rupture because of the flutes. A standard chambered 308 usually can handle both.

  5. Thanks & thanks for the info.

I didn't try to pull up on the back of the rail, but no matter what I tried I couldn't get the top cover back in the groove at the front without loosening the 4 bolts that hold the ext rail on.

I don't want to shim it, so if I took a little off the underside at the back, would this weaken it to much?

I don't think it would but want some opinions before I do anything.

  6. If anyone cares to measure their S-12 from face of gas block to dust cover locking rib, I would enjoy more measurements to compare mine to.

Sorry, no measurement right now but that looks like the same area & amount I had to remove too.

I was going to start a thread to ask this but if you don't mind.

Anyone else having trouble field stripping and reassembling with the extended rail? I can't get the cover back on with the rail installed. :(

  7. Yeah Mike, stop worrying about the whiners and get those double stacks into our hands, my drums are looking for some company. :D

OH and thank you again for the quality of these drums and for packing them so well, got mine on Friday.

  8. If there's already a thread started for this member, I couldn't find it, so please move this if there is.

A++, great communications, very fast shipping, and packaged well over what was needed.

Thanks again and sorry for the delay in posting this.
