The only way we are going to change the country is to be honest about where it is heading. Lets not let the emotions that words like "Fascist" bring distract us from what is happening here. Because if we can not properly identify the threat how can any of use do anything to fix the problem. This is not a dig on America, just the way that a lot of Her citizens are taking us.
I totally agree. I am not at all happy with the way this country is going right now. I think this last three months of 'rumors' has done more damage to this country than the last ten years, but I will not give up. I refuse to even imagine defeat, if we succede to their ideals, then they have won before the fight even really began. Think about it, this fight has not even begun yet. There are no bans, yet, no taxes, yet, no one knocking asking for your rights. But there are some...and I am not referring to Jangles here....who see it fit to give up and admit to themselves that it's too late. If we, even part of us give up....then we have lost half of the voting, half the members of the fight......

There is a site called apex tactical pro that sells these. Also identfying features: Russian finish is matte, the sunscreen cover screws are flat head not rounded, the "skids" on the russian are exposed metal and the frame on the russian above the attaching lever is solid not recessed as on the chinky copy. The on/off switch and the reticle selector are metal on the Russian and lastly the housing on a Russian is metal the chinese looks plastic. I do not know the quality of these but they are not worth over $75.00.
Where is that site? I bought a Sure Fire 910 from him on Ebay and when I got it, it was a fake Chinese make. I tried to contact him, but he was GOA on Ebay and Ebay won't respond. I can't leave any feedback because he is gone and now my CC company is looking for him with no avail.

Guys becareful when you buy on Ebay. There are fake Aimpoint's, EoTech's and A-Cog;s on there that have the name brand on them. I tried the fake EoTech on an AR (read no recoil) and the thing failed after three rounds.

Does there really need to be a Glock thread every week? They are all fine, if it's a name brand aside from the Sigma (yes I know about the lawsuit between smith and Glock over the Sigma)and some of the other fly by night brands or models, they are all fine. As far as the Glock in 40 being a problem, bottom line.....those people are talking out of their ass. They're jealous that there is something either they can't have, can't afford or can't understand. It has been said thousands of times and I'll say it again; there is a reason most LE shoots .40ca and there is a reason most of those are G22's.
I love Glock's, but I am stating that as my opinion which is based on years and years and thousands of rounds of experience. There are other guns out there that are just as good if not better, depending on what feels good in your hand. I all boils down to if you are having problems with a semi auto locking back or FTEing.....tighten your wrist brace.

Where i work now, i shoot an ar15 .223. Ive been lookn to try and find a good reliable weapon to customize and have for a rainy day (Im talkn s*** storm!). Most guys I talk to recommend the ak47 or ar15. Im not married to either so suggestion are still open. Id like it to be tactical for close quarter engagements but still be able to handle long range.

Thanks for the replies guys. What I was looking for was in a round was basically a cheap small version of a .308. I have a thing stuck in my head to get the perfect tool for the job, not the tool that is practical for the job (read that with no sarcasm, I actually mean that as me being too obsessive with my choice). Seeing how many of you raved about the .308 and it appears to be the best choice.
Another reason is I have a 30-06 and just didn't like the idea of buying another gun that the ballistics (I think) are the same as a gun I already own. The other was what a .308 would do to a varmint.
After doing some research, I keep winding up back at the .308 but with the aforementioned "problems" I have "created" for that round, I wind up with the 25-06 and the 22-250.

Not trying to start a flame here, but the one thing I keep seeing in these videos is these guys are charging the weapon after the mag change. I was always taught, you never let the gun go dry, therefore on a mag change you should not need to recharge the weapon. Now my training is mostly with HG, so it is easier to count rounds and be able to tell when you are down to one or two rounds.
Is this common with rifle mag changes?

I have to respectfully disagree,..
I realize I am going against the grain
but my opinion is that Glocks blow,...
and here's why:
#1 in my opinion,..They are so light,... the recoil is your hand,... whatever damage may happen to your hand,.. you might not realize if you don't shoot it every day,..
#2 Every single one I have ever shot jammed,... 3 total,.. so what else am I supposed to think?
I don't care how many people across the earth have had zero malfunctions, NOT ME, my experience with glock 9mm pistols, is that THEY JAM.
and to top it all off, I think they are ugly pistols and have no design sense whatsoever

Hallboss, i'm an CCT EMT I was going to go for paramedic, but I had a change in heart, trying to go for PA now. I want out of EMS. hahahah, i still can't help but feel bad for the cops. I'm surprised the investigator didn't yell through the door for the people to open up the window. Ah well, can't always be perfect.
Good luck, being a PA is a really great job. I am bored as hell with retirement so I am going back to school....**cough**...nursing school...**cough**

I had a call a while back, where I was at a high school with the FD Arson investigator talking with a student when the principal came in and asked us to go to a classroom where the students were complaining of a strange smell and their throats were burning. At the time, I had not that much training when it came to airborn threats and just let the FD guy take the lead, figuring he had a ton of airborn training. We both walked over to the classroom, didn't talk to one person and stuck our heads in the door.
BIG MISTAKE! We both got that burning in the back of the throat and started wheezing. I realize I made a huge mistake, trusting my life to another person's training, but hey I ASSUMED wrong. We got taken to the hospital, along with the students and got the parking lot decon shower.
Turned out a kid mixed a small amount of bleach and ammonia in a container and opened it to avoid a test. We were treated, released and told that Chlorimine Gas in small quantities is not lethal, just bothersome and it is not Mustard Gas like everyone thinks.
I went back to the station and was given the "come to Jesus speech by my Lieutenant." I never forgot that day and never forgot it when approaching a strange scenario.

I am not dreaming at all. I know what is going on and all that I have said is there is no reason to openly give up. I don't care one way or the other what you believe or care about. If you want to sit back and bitch that what you have done or think you have done is going out to pasture for a new way of life, then go ahead and give up. You wanna join this fight and try insult me, because you think you have a more enlightened experience than me and then result to the first admendment, freedom of speech argument thats fine. But let me ask you, what do you do when someone pisses on my flag? Nothing huh? After all it's the freedom of speech, protected by the first admendment, right. How about when some nutjob, sacrifices animals or people. Is that protected by the freedom of religion? Wake the fuck up man. Are you seriously one of these idiot defense attorneys that thinks the constitution was drafted with modern America in mind, I don't think so.
If you honestly think that the constitution was drafted to protect what these assholes are doing today as freedom of speech, then YOU are the one who seriously needs to wake up and do something. ME? I fight every fight I can. I write letters, attend meetings, pay my dues to the NRA and attend DEMOCRATIC meetings and conferences.
I am not at all happy with the way things are, but since you decided to point fingers....What have you done?
