Thanks. Mine didn't have one in the box when I opened it. I just wanted to make sure they were supposed to come with one before I made an ass out of myself. Had to go back and get it. They said they always take them out so they don't get stolen and someone just forgot to put back in the box when I bought it. All is well.

Are new Saigas supposed to come with a magazine?

I'm sure you're right. I would LOVE to have one of those S12's.

Please don't misunderstand. I don't have one thing bad to say about this gun. The regret comes from me not doing my homework before I bought. Totally MY fault. I'm sure it is one of the easiest to convert, but I have never done anything to any of my guns besides putting a short barrel and a collapsible stock on my 870. It's the trigger assembly I'm worried about. If it wasn't for the trigger, I would be ok. I sent an email to one of the sponsors that is within driving distance from me so maybe they will be able to help me out. (fingers crossed)

Yeah, I have been reading this site for the last few days. My head is pounding and I am starting to regret even buying the thing. At this point, I am thinking I'll just hang on to it until I run into someone who can't live without it.

Anybody know if there is a dvd available that covers Saiga conversions? I'm getting my first Saiga and know absolutely nothing about them. I have been doing a bunch of reading on conversions but would like to be able to see something other than pics if possible. Thanks.
