Dang, well I will have to contact RAAC then. As for what happened, eh, I was trying to resolve a FTE problem, and isolated the cause in the gas system. I found that the rear of the hole in the gas block was partially obstructing the rear 2 gas holes on the barrel. I went to work on it, and didnt stop to realize that the pistion "puck" comes right up to the edge of the gas hole. So now the gas hole is ramped up and ends in the back quarter of the puck. So, while the gas holes in the barrel are no longer obstructed, the FTE problem remains. So I decided that when my new Red Jacket arrives,

Does anyone know where I can get ahold of a new front gas block?

I am at the end of my rope for this gun, I have not been able to get the thing to cycle on any gas setting with any shell. I have slicked up the bolt and carrier parts as suggested in another thread, I have a 4 hole gun with all holes perfectly visible. I tried to pull the gas block off to widen the holes, but I can't get the lower pin out, bent a snap-on punch trying. I want my Saiga to work, but nothing I have tried will get it to eject, I managed to get one shell to eject by loading it in manually without a mag in it. Any suggestions?
