  2. For sale is a mint condition (never issued or fired) Hungarian AMD65 parts kit. This kit comes complete with everything to assemble the AMD65 except the mag and reciever. It also comes with a gas tube customized with retainers to accept an upper handguard, new sling and 2 screw kits. This parts kit came from Marsh Hawk Arms a few years ago when they still had the mint condition AMDs. The finish on it is 100% and all parts are perfect. I started a screw build with this kit on an Ohio Ordanance Works reciever but never completed it. I still have the mag and partially completed reciever. Any questions, drop me a line. Thanks!

  3. I would just like to tell everyone that I just made a GREAT trade with emr454. He has great communication skills both over the internet and phone. Pleasant guy to talk to, and an all around positive transaction. Very fast shipping on his end. Fantastic packaging and very fair barganing. emr454 has been a member here for a long time with nothing but positive influance and is definately an asset to our online community. I would not hesitate to deal with him again and will highly reccomend him to anyone intrested. Thanks!

  4. Hi guys!

I found this interesting unfinished conversion as part of a gun lot I bought last year. I was considering finishing it but could use the money right now. Anyway, its a brand new, complete (never issued or fired) Hungarian AMD65 front end mounted to a new (unfired) Saiga reciever. It is chambered for 7.62x39 the reciever is stamped with EAA COCOA FL and has a 4 digit serial number following EJ. It looks to me like a factory feed ramp model, it chambers rounds just fine but has not yet had the mag catch filed to accept AK mags. The head spacing checks out fine and all parts are in perfect condition. The screws currently in the rifle are of the common automotive type and should be replaced with proper screws, rivets, or weld and you will need a buttstock/pistol grip etc. Drop me a line with any questions, thanks!

  5. I am very proud to post my newest bike.... A 2002 VTX 1800C

Drag bars, Vance and Hines pipes, Procharger intake and mappable fuel injection computer. This is without a doubt the smoothest and most powerful bike I have ever owned! I've built a half dozen S&S bikes for people and at least a dozen rat bikes for myself over the years but never took a ride on anything with this much Zoom! This thing is like a dragster with turn signals!! I've been putting a ton of miles on her and looking forward to a lot more! I can't believe they sell a "big bore" kit for this bike (it increases the displacement to 2007cc and adds 40hp) there is also a turbo available.... I would love to have a turbo on this bike, but question my own ability to handle it!

    :cryss:

I think I would stay away from antifreeze. It would attract many animals (such as dogs and birds) that you may not be targeting. That's very toxic and enticing stuff to many animals, and I would not be too surprised if humans didn't find the taste palatable..Not to mention that proper disposal of antifreeze is a bit problematic.

    JMHO....

Yes, you are correct. I have accidentally tasted several brands of antifreeze over the years.....lol. I find that the more expensive brands have a sweeter, fuller taste than thier cheaper counterparts which leave me with an acidic, watery and chemical aftertaste. Kind of like the difference between a bottle of Boon's Farm and Purple Thunder!

Nice trap idea, thanks for shareing.

  7. I would love to reclaim some of the cars I've had over the years, or the customers cars I've been working on at the streetrod shop. But the gas prices, and my old age force me to drive boring, sensable vehicles. I recently sold my VW and bought a mint condition 1987 Dodge Dakota..... Nothing special, you can see it out in the snow in this pic. And (ofcorse) my VTX1800.

  8. I don't watch tv, but had a lady over last night and watched the show with her... Ricky Schroder?!....HaHaHaHaa!!!! Yup Keifer Southerland was toting a Makarov. The AKs looked Romainian to me but they only showed them briefly. I could be wrong. But I remember thinking how cool it was that the "Russians" had a Makarov but were sporting Romainian looking rifles.

  9. the admins can do pretty much anything they want.

    Indeed.

Ohhh, yea! NCshooter. I forgot about him! (back on topic) I'd say that makes a definate 3 not counting this nonsense with Cobra. Not bad for a firearms forum. Our membership is pretty high now. I'd say we were remarkably light on the bannings. But its starting to get a little weird in here lately...

  10. Taa Daa!!!

Heat shield snaps on tight without bolting it on. I may just leave it like that. (It ain't gonna pop off) Pistol grip fits nice and snug. It only took minimal alteration to the shotgun to accept the adapter.

    Thanks again man!

  11. Thought you all might get a kick out of this. I ordered an Ultimak gas tube thinking it was for an AMD. It turned out to be the standard length type gas tube. Instead of reselling a perfectly good upgrade, I further hacked up my Saiga foregrip to install this piece.... Pffft, I'm doing the Saiga foregrip a favor!...lol. The Ultimak gas tube is vented at the bottom and has an integrated rail at the top. It is aluminum and does not lock in to the rear sight block like a standard gas tube. Instead it is clamped to the barrel and a small amount of space is left between the normal mounting points at the RSB and GB. This is so that the rail stays parallel to the barrel and does not change trajectory as the rifle gets hotter and cools. I don't have anything that I want to mount to it, but its a spiffy upgrade from my home ported Saiga gas tube.... It took about an hour with a Dremmel.
