  1. Yes I modified the receiver for the double hook and no that is not sticking. I also filed down the hammer so it will work with the bolt hold open. Would the spring moving over cause it to be become a bolt action? Like I said after a manual cycle of the bolt, she will fire, then I cycle by hand again and it will fire again. Extraction/feeding is not an issue. thanks again, Chris
  2. No I didn't. I will check that on my next trip to range. I just found all the other posts you mentioned. I am reading through them and will take notes on what to look for and how to fix. I apologize for this post without reading through the other posts first. Chris
  3. Ok, here's the deal. I was firing my newly converted saiga 12, that I just finished. I was using a MD Arms 20 drum. It was loaded with federal's military grade buck shot. I inserted the loaded mag and released the bolt. Took aim, pulled the trigger, bang, the empty shell ejected, and the new one loaded. I pulled the trigger and the trigger didn't move. I cleared the loaded shell thinking it short stroked or there might be a misfeed. After pulling the bolt back and clearing the recently loaded shell with a new shell. She fired just fine. So instead of semi auto, it became a bolt action shotgun.
