  1. superhawk138, that would of been a great swap, however I already ordered the sight and muzzle brake. any other offers would greatly be considered. Any extra saiga mags? hmmmm
  2. The Arsenal SGL10 comes with the 24mm FSB already installed. He's wanting to revert back to 14x1LH threading. Plasticman, If you decide to sell the Arsenal 7.62x39 muzzle brake that came on the rifle, let me know. Hi tin man I will keep you posted about the muzzle brake. Since your the first one to ask, you will get first dibs if I decide to part with it. Thanks for the replies guys!
  3. If memory serves me right, the Saiga's use an AK-74 FSB and GB. your right, it does have the AK74 FSB on it. I'd like to go ahead and put the slant muzzle brake on the rifle, I cannot do that unless I ~ remove the whole FSB block off OR cut off only the 24mm X 1.5 thread and re-thread the barrel. I have a Saiga 7.62 rifle also and thought about doing the same thing. You could just thread the site-block instead. Dinzag sells threaded site-blocks, but from what I gather from two different gunsmiths, you can't take the stock front site off, unless you cut it. Instead of doing that

  5. yep, the same stuff, like u said. Good cheap ammo....but dirty
  6. I have a Saiga SGL 10 Sporter(7.62x39)that I am converting back to an Ak 47 clone. Looking to replace the front sight block, so that I can install the slant muzzle brake. My question is this: Can I use a standard AK 47 front sight block and just re-thread the barrel to the 14mmx1 LH? I see on some sights that they sell front sight blocks for Saiga conversions. Then they sell standard AK front sight blocks. Should all be the same, right? Any help would greatly be appreciated!
  7. what you sent me does not work. I tried method 3 and was not able to even put the pin back in. The spring was keeping the pin from lining up with the hole of the receiver. Also, the trigger was so hard to squeeze, I just thought that this could not be right. So, I put it the way it was and bought some e:clips and it works great. Not sure if that sketch was for another type of gun or if I am missing something and I dont see it. Thanks anyway....take care!
  8. hmmmm... I have to look at that. Seemed like when I was dry firing it seemed to work out great. So I thought it was put in properly. Thanks....I'll keep ya posted
  9. Hi, I bought a Saiga SGL10 in 7.62 Converted it to the pistol grip with the warsaw stock. Looks good. Anyway..... fired it for the first time today and what I noticed was that after about the fourth round the hammer/trigger pin would work its way out of the receiver. it doesnt come out completly but enough to jam up the trigger. Anyone have any ideas to keep this pin in place? Right now I am using my thumb to hold it in place. Thank you!
  10. unfortunately I do not have an arbor press or milling machine to make the jig. Funny, I use to be a machinist and could have access to all of this equipment! AAAARRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! Thanks for the video, take care.
  11. Very interesting, may give that a try. Thanks!
  12. Hi, I just purchased a Saiga SGL10. I want to convert it. My question(s) is this: I see that these "conversion kits" come with rivets. I know how rivets work, but are they designed to be "forced" or "tapped" in? Or do you need to smash the other end of it to keep them in. What are the alternate routes? I do not want to do any "smashing" Lets just say I dont have ALL the right tools for that procedure. Thanks again. Take care!
  13. Thanks kingguns, I'll keep ya posted. Very confusing isnt it?? I get alot of different answers, the more I look into this. I dont want to buy any conversion parts that I may not need. Conversion parts are expensive as hell!Take care.
