  1. Happens to many, don't feel bad.

Nobody says Clip around here for too long, it's like an innitiation.

Welcome to posting on the forum.

Other words to try to avoid are Drum, AR-15, LRBHO & "Which is best"

    Hi Puzzlin,

Don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about. The first thing to do after joining this forum and introducing yourself is start a new thread titled "Cobra, When is You're LRBHO Coming Out!?"

Note: Only do this AFTER sending a PM to the user 'Cobra' with the same title.

    Welcome!

  2. That's the sweet Saiga Sweetness :)

I was at the range the other day, running my S-12, when a couple of younger guys started looking into my lane. I could hear them with my electronic head set "Wow, Dad, come look at this shotgun! It's got magazines like an AK!"

Dad glances over and says: "Come on back, your 870 police model is way better then that. You don't want one of those, they jam all the time."

I couldn't resist. I leaned out an said "Yeah, Saiga's suck. You don't want one."

    Welcome to the club!

  3. ZERO failures.

None at all with a 'combat' cartridge (00 buck/slugs). None at all in 3 gun matches with Federal Wally-World bulk packs, provided I remembered to adjust my gas system prior to starting the day :)

I had failures initially when A) I didn't know how to work the gas system, and B) they only occurred with the bulk pack bird shot mentioned above.

Out of the box, I've never had a failure with a 'combat' load.

  4. Thanks for the reply, Cobra. I was thinking of this choke from Izhmash (see pic). I didn't know about the win choke adaptor, that looks pretty cool as an option.

When you say 'fixed full choke barrel' is that a fixed choke on the end of the barrel or is the whole barrel 'full choke'?

I'm guessing the 2 slugs on the right are OK for chokes, but the one on the left is asking for trouble?

  5. Howzit Saigaphiles!

I don't hunt, I just do 3 gun competitions and I'm wondering which would better meet my needs. The Polychoke II or the Izhmash screw-on half/full chokes? I'm just looking to tighten up my bird shot patterns to smack the steel a little harder & improve accuracy. I keep reading conflicting information about firing slugs through a full choke. Please answer this one only if you have first hand experience doing so safely or actually witnessing a kaBoom! or other event.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  6. Here's a home invasion(successful)where the perp's came back to kill the family for calling the Police. Perp's were wearing body armor and a shotty was the only thing that stopped them:

    Robber shot during home invasion

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- When a team of robbers returned to a Rowan County home police say they'd robbed up earlier in the week, the homeowners were ready Friday.

One suspect is in the hospital after being shot by the couple's son. Two other people are in custody.

It happened on Corriher Grange Road near Highway 152.

The house was first held up Monday night. NewsChannel 36 spoke exclusively with the Deadmon family after the first home invasion. They told us how the robbers forced them to open the safe at gunpoint. They reported the robbery to police, and they believe that's why the suspects returned.

"He told my husband they had come back to kill," Sherry Deadmon said, speaking for her husband Randy, who has a disability that affects his speech.

It was Randy and his son John-Ross who were home Friday afternoon when two men arrived.

Randy explained how one of the robbers grabbed his son by the collar and lead him into the house. He said both men had guns.

There was a scuffle -- pushing, punching, and then shooting. The family had placed several shotguns around the house because of Monday's crime.

When police arrived at the home, they found one man shot in the garage. He was wearing black clothing, a black mask and a bulletproof vest.

John-Ross Deadmon told investigators he believed he had shot that man. He said a second man had run from the scene, while exchanging gunfire with him.

Police believe they arrested that second man in Kannapolis a short time later. They also arrested a woman, who was found in the vehicle investigators connected to the crime scene.

The wounded man was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center where he is recovering. Names will be released after charges are filed against all three suspects.

The Deadmon's son, John-Ross, was taken to the hospital with some bruises and scrapes from the fighting. His pastor tells NewsChannel 36 he was shaken, but home Friday night, along with his parents, who are unharmed.

  7. The text and the image were from my previous sale when I had 30-40 for sale.If he is using my image then I would like to speak with him because i never gave him permission.

Hadn't considered that. Honestly, One Source tactical's site had the exact same text, description & photo a few months ago. It's gone from their site (I just checked). I wasn't aware of your earlier post/sale and I thought it may be a scam.

I have to admit that I am biased/hyper-vigilant as I recently got screwed on Gunbroker by a guy 'selling' Izhmash 8 rounders.
