Well if you want to work on the basics of shooting rifles you can't go wrong with a 22 bolt action. They are cheap to shoot and if you are just shooting at paper targets or spinning targets why not? Honestly I think everyone should learn to shoot on a 22 bolt action. Great to teach kids also.

Selling the guns to a good friend is a good idea. Before I bought a few of my current guns I only had one. With my ex she tried to tell everyone I was making a big deal and making sure she knew I had a gun by the way I have it out. That gun was said to be a 12 gauge. That gun was a single shot bolt action 22 that was my grandfather's which I learned to shoot with. I was cleaning it to remove some surface rust that had gotten on it and gave it a general cleaning. I was doing this while watching TV. That was a long time before she filed for divorce. It is funny how they can take things and blow them all out of proportion when you are dealing with a divorce. Everything you have said and done will be twisted if she thinks she can make you look bad. it will be hard and expect it to get ugly. Expect to be told you kick puppies when you can and are a lazy ..... Also expect you will be made out to be a bad father who exposes your kids to questionable if not out right dangerous things ( another good reason to be fun free now).
Make sure your lawyer is a divorce lawyer. Not just a general lawyer or a least one that handles of lot of divorces and wins.
This is going to take time and it will suck big time. Don't do anything stupid. Be real careful what you do until it is settled. That includes dating and letting your kids meet who you are dating. You don't want them to see everyone you wind up dating or just sleeping with. Be carefull drinking also. Last thing you need now is more ammo for her to use against you.
For your kids sake don't call their mother names or tear her down where they can hear. Kids can hear more than you realize. This is a permant rule. It will make things easier on them later.
btw I hope you are gathering evidence. Check cell phones, computers, email if you can. You would be surprised what you can find on a computer in cases like this.

I know a lot of people that use high temp grease on shotguns, aks, and pistols that get heavy use. Talking shooting 1000 rounds in a rifle or pistol over a weekend use. Use a very little amount since it goes a long way. They swear by it. From what I have seen it works great. They use the red hi temp grease you get from walmart, runs 6-7 bucks. With what you get you could take care of a lot of weapons.

Is there any real reason to go with an 8 over say a 10? I could be confused here..but from what I am seeing the reason for the 8 is to fit some holders better. Do I have that right? Is there any feed advantages? Something I missed?
Also I am not a fan of what AGP did and looks like promags have problems. So other than drums I should get more surefire mags or is there someone else I should be looking into?

Anyone else having problems with Youtube not playing? I'm running IE8 and Google Chrome, Adobe Flash Player 10 on a cable modem and for the last week or two I can't get Youtube to play for shit. Like every other clip either plays or acts like it wants to load but doesn't. I've tried to get Vankillers LTL clip to run a dozen times and it just sits there . Happens on both my laptop and desk top PC. Is it me or Youtube?
It is a flash issue. Uninstall flash and reinstall it.

Save the uninstaller on your desktop. Odds are you will need to do it again.

I have purchased a fair amount from there under the new owners. Can't go wrong with them. If there is a problem they work with you to fix it quickly.

Dont be talking bad about troma like that! lol. they make some of my favorite B- movies. Most people here will probably hate their stuff if they arent familiar with it. They are very low budget. One of my favorite Troma movies is Cannibal the Musical by South Park creators Matt Stone & Trey Parker.
The music in the trailer is mostly different than what is in the show.
Don't get me wrong, Troma films were campy and did not take themselves too serious. While not exactly high art they were pretty funny. However the special effects and such were really really bad but fit. Ecks was just bad with no redeeming qualities. So a campy line of B movies (pick your fav) were better than a big budget film that had no excuse for being bad.

I think the Stunt coordinator was someone fired from the A team series and did that movie while stoned. It was so bad it was like watching a slow motion train wreck. You want to leave but it could not get any worse, wait it just did...
A good runner up to that is Exorcist: The Beginning (4th movie). I considered leaving often while watching, I regret I did not.

If you want something cheap to leave in the car. CZ 82. You can get it for around 200. Far more reliable than anything else at that price range and easy to conceal. Downside is being 9 X 18 makarov, not a huge selection of carry ammo. Hornady makes some good stuff for it. You might be able to find some generic jacketed hollow points also. You can get ball ammo pretty cheap but most places don't carry it. You have to hit a gun show or order it. If you want something bigger I would look at a pump shotgun.

Lol well you two did say for better worse right? Looks like you are getting the worse out of the way up front. If after dealing with that all at once and you can still laugh at each other then you are doing good. You really see how people are when things are going bad compared to when things are going good.

There is allways more to a story i know, thats why i was looking for another source. I typically just read and go on. But this one cought my attention for some reason i dunno maybe just the word "sexually harrassed/rape". I dunno, i know bad things like this fall threw the law and get screwed up all the time. Regardless of how this one turns out, or what truths come from it, it just made me think. Its crazy how screwed up the justice system is getting these days. Criminals have more rights than innocent citizens.
I agree with you. However one thing that is also becoming common is for a woman to attack a man and then claim he tried to rape her. I know some guys that had women start crap and then the guy gets in trouble for domestic abuse. I know still others that dated women where they worked and when they broke up it became sexual harassment and hr got pulled in. Almost never went well for the guy.

Great Gun..I have the 50cal conversion for it...Just becareful if you get the ambi mag release version..There are a few problems with them concerning the mag release..They tend to stick...

Looks like they are going to come out with 4th gen glocks soon end of 1Q or start of 2Q. Rumors are they are making some really nice improvements. As for costs..who knows. I heard some speculation that they might be cutting prices of older models to clear the way for the new ones.

I agree with most posted here. Many are forge ting oil. Look at the amount of money that goes overseas not to return because of oil. Talk about a capital drain. However it is not the unions that are the source of the problem. It is the entitlement mentality everywhere. Unions seem to distill it I will agree. Part of me likes the down turn right now. Because too many of the gen Y thought having facebook blocked at work was a reason to quit. Too many of that mindset want companies to compete for them with no experience under their belt rather than compete for a job.

I used to be a glock hater. The grip just felt wrong in my hands. A friend of mine recently found out about the SF (small frame) models of glock and he was also a hater. The SF really changed the feel of the pistol. He got one and I tried it. Well we are both converted now. They tweeked the sights just a little also since the last time I shot one.

It has been proven time and time again to work. You can get a lot of stuff cheap for it compared to other guns. Hard to go wrong. If the full size does not feel right check the SF. Compact models will take the same mags as the bigger ones.

Not been around as long as the glock so does not have the track record. However they do have a good one. The grip angle is more like the 1911 so that might be more familiar in your hand if you have shot a 1911 a lot. I like the backstrap safety. Assuming you are not a cop or doing open carry out in the field I would think you want something concealable. Call it paranoia but I just like the extra safety on the xd and xdm. When you shoot them you don't even notice.
I don't think you can go wrong with the FN either since they make good weapons. However just throwing this out there. Glocks and spring fields are much more common so you can get accessories much easier. The 5.7 round costs. 45-50 cents a round adds up fast and good luck getting it at times. It was about a buck a round not that long ago.

Remember, your medical bills are tax deductible once you get over 7.5% of your taxable income. And, don't forget to keep track of the miles you drive. I think 8000 miles is worth $1000 or more.
What this means is that you will probably pay NO income tax for the next year or two. Hey, I'll take any win I can get at this point.
Well the miles to and from doc appointments, treatments and even if you have to travel to pick up something prescribed for you.

If they are really into pork look into Souvlaki.
As for the steak and cheese, try adding a little balsamic vinegar when cooking the beef. For cheeses to try, Gruyere, Havarti, Gouda and Monterey Jack. You could play with some Queso Blanco also.
If you want to get fancy you could try doing a bechamel sauce and add cheese to it. That would not exactly be a traditional steak and cheese but still tasty.

Exactly you don't do much better than that place. I hope it is nothing but you are in good hands. I know for a fact they have some really great docs there. Some of the PAs there are better than some docs I had in the past. Plus worst comes to worst you can head to duke for a 2nd opinion.

I have a liberal friend that is unhappy with my now for almost the same reasons. They can't seem to understand that I believe in the constitution. I took umbrage with bush and some things he pulled. I can't stand what I am seeing now. They can't understand I want all things equal where the same rules apply to everyone. No special classes of people, no hate crimes no hand outs because of historical issues. That has gotten me called a fan of draconian justice system. Liberal have a few things that seem to apply to them. Ask them to explain something you often get something along the lines of I feel.... instead of I think this. Group think. Some are smarter than everyone else so they must lead and everyone must look to them for everything, clothing, food, health care etc. They don't trust people instead they trust the government. I don't understand that. Most of the government is made up of bureaucrats and they look for reasons not to do their job. They give little of their money to causes but oh that should be paid for by the government They view making a profit as evil unless you donate to something.
With all of this I have never seen this country more polarized and neither have my parents. The Chinese have a curse "May you live in interesting times" well I think we are in interesting times. Like one person posted, it is like politics have become a religion to them. So to question policy is to question canon.

I'd find a way to fake it. I haven't had the flu since a month after my last flu shot. Nothing goes in me out of the ordinary other than anti-biotics and alcohol.
Amazing isnt it? I had a flu shot 5 years ago, and got siker n shit for a week. Yet before and after not a missed day of work for year's? I associate the flu shot's with no knock entrie's. Kill em first.

I saw the one where he was dealing with someone that had a private plane and helicopter. He was freaking clueless as to what kind of stuff to offer the guy. Started with a mall ninja ar. The shotgun willie thing..well I could see the double since it fit the theme of where it was going to be. They did make it look like an old coach gun. He does come off as a used car guy. Looks like he caters to FUDs. Six guns and 1911s etc. The 1911 is the newest pistol design you see on the show. No way in hell I would let my daughter or wife dress like that. It does not seem like he has a problem with how his daughter dresses when she is selling to old guys.
