About a year ago we had a local see a dude breaking into his neighbors truck. Plugged him. The sheriff said thank you, case closed. I wouldn't recommend doing this but there is one less dirtbag off the street.
Last weekend a couple was sitting on a park bench down at the riverfront park during a first Friday festival. Two punks with dredlocks and black clothes walked up and asked to use his phone then said give up the money. Guy told them he didn't have any so they started beating him and his girlfriend with a aluminum baseball bat. He managed to get to the hospital before he went out. He's still in critical condition. I bet he wishes he was carrying that night.
If something looks suspicious, chances are it is. Be ready for anything.

That sucks. The driver definitely needs a talk with the supervisor. Their corporate website is sometimes receptive to complaints such as this, may send out a directive unless HSA has gotten to them. You could send yourself a box with a label that says, " This box contains a full case of WhoopAss for the UPS drivers who can't keep their mouth shut."

I'm guessing the OP was being sarcastic.
We have a winner.

Do not, whatever you do, print a bunch of these out and fill them with false info and send them in.

I like this clip about the bombers from AP:
Kelly said there was no evidence New York was still a target. But in a show of force, police cruisers with blinking red lights were lined up in the middle of Times Square on Thursday afternoon, and uniformed officers stood shoulder to shoulder.
"Why are they standing like that? This is supposed to make me feel safer?" asked Elisabeth Bennecib, a tourist and legal consultant from Toulouse, France. "It makes me feel more anxious, like something bad is about to happen."
Above the square, an electronic news ticker announced that the Boston Marathon suspects' next target might have been Times Square.

I wonder what would have happened if one of the homeowners answered the door with a 1911 holstered on his side. I bet quite a few Rights would have been violated.

Just get a small light bulb (like a filament Christmas tree) and turn it on inside the storage box. There should be not condensation that way.

Yea, that's a Scipto. I lived close to an older gentleman that had the first joint of his right index finger missing. He always said he wore the end of it off boring holes in syrup biscuits during the depression. One can learn a lot from these guys.

I used to have a red-tailed land on my 8N tractor when I was mowing the field. He'd see a mouse and go grab it. He did that for several years. I named him Broke-Wing for the notch in his feathers.

What amazes me is that the homeowner walked up to the boat after seeing blood on the cover, pulled the cover back and saw the dude covered with blood in the floor. Then went and called 911 and they brought the 82nd Airborne and the 5th Fleet to capture the dude. Sort of an overkill. All they needed was a good ole Southern Sheriff to say, "Come on boy, it's over."

Be careful if you send a real letter, especially if you have been eating sugar donuts.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says a letter containing ricin or another poision was sent to the office of Sen. Roger Wicker of Mississippi.
In brief remarks to reporters in the Capitol, Reid did not say when the letter was sent. It's customary for mail addressed to congressional offices to be screened at an off-site facility.
Sen. Mary Landrieu also confirmed a letter containing poison had been to a sent to a senator. She said lawmakers were informed of the fact at a closed-door briefing about the Boston Marathon bombings.

I got so close to Danica at Atlanta last year that I could smell her perfume. I never will forget that smell of gasoline.

They didn't even have the traditional firing of the six-shooters by the winner. ATI had sponsored a car and they made a special effort to not show it on camera. "Nascar will in the future screen their sponsors more carefully." What! They apparently never heard of the NRA.

Anybody else notice that the NRA has not been mentioned during the NRA 500 in Texas. Apparently a Conn. Rep. requested Fox to sequester it.
