  1. Get a gas piston(Chaos, Tromix, King Armory), a FCG(G2, Texas AK, RSA) and a forearm(Lots of choices here, you want rails or no rails?) or muzzle device(get a breacher[any of the people who make the gas pistons] or a poly choke), THEN get some diferent sights.

I love my krebs ghost ring. It took a bit to get it sighted in after installing initialy, but now that i have them, I couldn't be happier.

    Thanks Nailbomb-

This is my current line of thinking, however I had not thought of a gas piston. I'll also into the FCG and I definitely must have rails for all the future goodies I may desire. However I'm still debating on whether to get a Tri-rail or Quad?

As for muzzle attachments, I'm interested in the paradox choke because I prefer the Federal Barnes Expander Slugs. I'm leaning toward the DPH Phoenix Claw or Talon Breach for buckshot usage. I really love the Krebs Ghost sites, but I also love the look of an elevated front site/brake combo.

Unless you are a class 3 manufacturer you can never legally own a full auto S12 if it is full auto and made after 1986 it is not transferrable (at least that is my understanding of the law). Not that that is out of the way...

If you buy a high capacity magazine and put it in your shotgun without swapping out some russian parts for some USA parts unfortunately you have broken the law. Enforcement of this sill law not withstanding I assume we all want to be law abiding citizens so you may want to get your parts together for a conversion one by one. Also you can buy your 10 rounders also for when you do have a 922r compliant shotgun. You don't need to convert to be compliant but why not put that shotgun back to they way it was meant to be?

On the paradox choke someone posted about that the other day.

Sorry for the DDL post; my computer went nuts for a minute.

While I appreciate your concern. It's my understanding that it's legal to own fully automatic weapons in my state. I know it's perfectly legal to own automatic rifles my state. However, I'll dbl check the law concerning fully automatic shotguns.

Since I do not want to do any ir-reversible changes to my gun as of yet, my plan is to buy all the parts I wish to utilize for my post converted firearm. Apply what I can and wait until I'm sure about the rest.

The above being said; my fully license and accredited dealer informed me to be wary of some of the things one reads on the internet. He absolutely assures me that using a high capacity magazine does NOT make my gun illegal in any way!

My only concern with hicap mags is reliability. There has not been any problems with the several S12's sold in our area. However, there has been a LOT of complaints about HICAP mags in this forum. I'm just trying to discern the truth from the BS.

BTW; I'll let you know later if I still wish to be a law abiding citizen. It totally depends on what our current inept liberal lawmakers decide to do! It is said that, "when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns."

If my guns are outlawed, I definitely will be in that later group.

someone please correct me if i am wrong. it is my understanding that once you put a u.s hicap mag on a s12 it goes from being classified as a hunting rifle to an assault weapon, thus the need to change out some russian parts for u.s compliant ones.......am i wrong??????????

  2. sweet setup . i like the look and price of the utg scope rail. i am going to put that on mine. i like the red dot sittin closer to my face rather than so far up the rifle like others have them set up on the quad rail. i think its more tactically sound
