  1. walnut stock and blued finish Remington adl 700 in .270. Beautiful wood. In like new condition with millet see-through scope rings. $350 + shipping
  2. I have a CZ 550 varmint with heavy barrel and detachable mag. In like new condition with very few rounds through it. It is the walnut stock version. would like to get $499 + shipping. Beatiful gun, but I want to get a 223 CZ so this has to go. Accuracy that will make your friends sick!!! should have pics soon I attached the photo from cz's website For $85 more I will include a tasco varminter 6x-24x scope and the CZ rings ($150 value)
  3. Anyone have experience with the YL12 shotguns that SOG is selling? I have read they are made by Norinco in China.....is this correct? Are they any good?
  4. Well, since it looks like it was rearely (if ever) fired, somebody might jsut decided to get a different caliber (it is .270) which is something I've done before.
  5. I am looking a a sweet remington model 700 used at the local gun/pawn shop. It is in virtually new condition...not a scratch anywhere. The bore is shiny, and the action feels great. My only question is this.....why would someone trade in this gun? What should aI look for? Is it a lemon? My father-in-law always says "why would someone get rid of a perfectly good gun?". What do you all think?
  6. BTW....if you look at the "numbers" a .308 is much better ballistically then a .30-06 and retains energy better. Why? Logically, the larger .30-06 case has more powder and should give better punch and range (considering they are the same bullet)....but that doesn't seem to be the case. Why? I am just not that knowledgeable about these sort of things.
  7. Deer, etc. North American animals with the exception of grizzlies. Just varmints would probably be a 22-250.....
  8. I am trying to decide which rifle to buy as a general all around huntinmg weapon. I am leaning towards a .270 as it shoots flatter then a .30-06, still hits hard, can get some lighter bullets for varmints (coyotes mainly)(95 - 115 grain) and is widely available. Second choice was the .308, which is also VERY common (especially in surplus stuff) but the .270 seems to have better ballistics and the smaller .270 diameter means more versatility in varmint type bullets. Next choise would either be the .308 or .25-06 What do you think and why?
  9. It has teh buttstock cleaning kit, but is missing the rod (they are fairly easy to pick-up though). It has the sling. Actually, I have two Chicoms and both have the side mounted sling....one 306 and one 906 (this one). It functions very reliably. I have ran a good amount of ammo through it (mostly norinco FMJ), and everything has been flawless. Also, it is an import and does have a small importers mark, but it is an issued ilitary surplus rifle (you can see the serial on the stock as well)
  10. What part in particular are you looking for? I can try and get ahold of the camera again and take a closeup. It is a poor camera though (as you can tell from the pics). BTW, the gun has all matching serials
  11. Excellent condition. Has original case and 2 factory 7 round mags. Looking to get $320 + shipping for it.
