  1. I lost the trigger axis pin when I did the conversion on my Saiga. I had an AK pin that I used but its just a hair short. It works but it doesn't sit flush with the right side of the weapon. I guess the metal they use to form the Saiga is a little thicker than the metal on my Bulgarian AK and it thus needs slightly longer pins to go through it. If anyone has a pin lying around I'd be glad to take it off your hands. Let me know at xnavyflyer(at)cableone(dot)net. Thanks guys!
  2. I've got the K-Var on both my S12 and my Hungarian AK. They work great. I'm looking for a recoil pad for the Saiga though.
  3. Mine is a K-Var. I got it in town at J&G Sales. It has an external block, folds really easily and locks along the left side of the gun. It's not US made if you are relying on that for compliance. I'm having a hard time finding a recoil pad small enough to fit it but, otherwise it's a quality piece. It was less than $150 and if you give J&G Sales a call they can probably get one in the mail to you ASAP. I have my Hungarian AK and my S12 set the same with identical folding stocks and Tapco pistol grips. One of these days I'll get identical forends to have a matching pair.
  4. Are you able to shoot slugs through the choke at the tightest setting? I just got an S12 and am looking at one for a 922 compliance part.
