  1. thanks for the help, you guys are very cool. so i have the k-var in hand it was in the mail box when i made this post. it looks good but has a rivit instead if a screw, so is it not a good guild? should i send it back and get one from dinzag. the only prblem i see with it is i have never installed a hammer rivit before, and not to sure on what size hole to drill for it. the guide it self looks very well made though. sorry if this has been coverd before but i cant find to much info on the k-var guide here.
  2. ok i have a bullet guide on the way from k-var. so i got my saiga working with ak mags so just to try it out i used the ak mags without the guide installed. it does not jam, and even feeds hollow points no problem. i put 3 mag's full through it no problem is this normal, and if it is feeding should i go ahead and put in the guide in anyway.
  3. just did my first pg conversion and wanted to say thanks to all of you. was very easy to do after reading all the how to's from you all. and a very big thanks to dinzag man your stuff is top notch, will be buying from you again. after my brother watched me do the conversion he went and got a 308 saiga to convert. so next question from the experts, i can get a 308 saiga to convert, or pick up a nice rommy psl with 3 mags and a scope. the saiga will be a bit more in price with a full conversion to look like a psl. but not to sure what would be the better weapon i can only get 1 so what do you al
  4. thanks for the help it is the spring it is bent. the guy from the saiga company called and told me the same thing so no problems. doing the conversion at this time and when i said the first golf war i ment it. played lots of golf never fired a round at anyone. god was i ever tired of sand anyway he said that the 7.62x54 saiga might be out by this summer i want one so bad. i have 10 mosin nagants and reload for them i love that round can hit the 600 meter gong with my mosin sniper 9 out of 10" so cant wait for a saiga in 54r. i am getting my coversion stuff from dinzag hope it is as good as it
  5. godd morning all i am new here, i just got my 7.62x39 saiga and it is having the same problem. hammer is following the firing pin without cocking the round had a small dint in it so i took it back where i bought it they put 20 rounds through it no problem. they told me it was my fault that i did not know how to work the weapon lol. i was in the first golf war and panama so dont think that is it. any way took it back out 20 rounds did fine put 5 in mag to try it at 100 meters last 4 rounds slamfired full auto. so i am going to get a new fcg and do the pg conversion any ideas what could be the p
