  1. I like the 10/30 for the AR's because I like keeping the muscle memory of using standard military sized magazines. I was hoping to do the same with my Saiga but I'm still new to the rifle. I just learned there are no 30 rnd'ers hehe.
  2. Searched the forums and unless I seriosly over looked something (it's possible) I didn't see anyone ask. Anyone know where I can get 10/30 mags? For those of you who are blessed enough not to know what they are, they're 30 mag bodies with 10rd guts. ....I hate California
  3. I didn't even think about that....hmmm... That's what I was thinking. I'm used to using standard M4 iron sights and a scope that's mounted on my savage 22lr but it came with a rail built into the stock. I was going to go cheap first. Agreed. The only reason I was going to change the stock would purely be for the placement of the sling adapters so I could have them side mounted instead of bottom but if I go single point it would matter. "Cali"ing a rifle to use a pistol grip completely takes away any practical tactical use. That's what I'll probably end up doing.
  4. Ok, i guess "build" was the wrong word, more like add ons. Just picked up my stock 16in .308 yesterday. Not looking for distance, more like a CQB/short 100 meter shots. FYI I'm in California, so no pistol grips without restricting the mag detach. Optic Mount:AK \ Saiga Scope Mount - Black Anodized Finish From ScoutScopes or i was thinking about the [sGM Tactical - Rear Picatinny Rail from Mississippi Arms Optic: I was thinking just a cheap red dot until I get used to them before I spend damn near $400 on an optic Buttstock: Tapco buttstock the one i have has the sl
  5. Like this http://www.adxtactical.com/store/pc/viewPr...mp;idcategory=3 but instead of bottom, just a single rail on the side or both. I like the simple looking guards, not the ones with the rails all over, especially the bottom. .....too picky?
  6. Where can I find a good picatinny rail?
  7. I just bought a 308 with a 16in. I want to put an M-16 style rear sight on it but I'm having a hard time figuring out the difference between AK parts and Saiga parts. I found this on Black Throne Products but it's listed as AK....my head hurts Secondly, Does Trijicon make a front sight? I looked on Optics Planet and couldn't find one. Thanks.
