At long last, here's mine. I did not exactly go the traditional route. I hope you like it. It turned out to be exactly what I envisioned a year and a half ago. Gosh, I'm slow. Let me know what you guys think.

I have read the first two books of "The Gulag Archipelago". I am taking a break and reading "The Ultimate Sniper" by Maj. John L> Plaster, USAR (Ret.) Then, back to the last book of "The Archipelago."

I have always been careful about not selling any firearms with PayPal as an acceptable payment option. I did not realize that they also have other restrictions. My acount has been PERMANENTLY limited because I sold 30 round PMAGs. My attempts to e-mail them have gone un-answered and logging in to my account, there are NO options listed for me to make this right.
I did receive an e-mail from Gunpal explaining their recent difficulties. They have been shat upon by 6 or 7 banks. I realize they have gone through some growing pains, but this Pay Pal shit is TOO MUCH! We need to support Gunpal and remove our patronage from PayPal.

I would like to see that wire-folder a little closer. I am very curious to see the pad you have added. Mine is a little short for me and I was trying to avoid a welding project. Also, the wrap seems like something I would like to do.

I just did my first deal using Gpal. I am awaiting the "two small deposits" to verify the account. I hope it goes better than what I have heard so far. As far as USPS money orders, they are fine, unless it is for a large amount, or it gets lost. They have no way to track it and a replacement takes 60 days. I have only had one lost to date, so it has not been that bad. With the large amounts, a lot of the time the Post office will not have enough cash on hand, especially first thing in the morning. If you go to your bank to cash it, they write your account number on the m.o. as identification to track the funds. My Credit Union actually deposits the funds and then withdraws them, so there is a record of you getting the money. They got you covered no matter how you play it.

In the vast storehouse of knowledge that is this forum, I am certain that someeone can answer this question. I have a guy who wants to trade me a pump-action Romarm CAI AK chambered in 5.56X45. I have never heard of or seen one and was wondering what it is worth. I searched on Google and this sight, but a pump-action AK could not be found. So, is it a worthy find or a piece of junk?

My sister (extreme lib) has lived in Portland for a long time. When I suggested she actually did something personally about the "homeless and the poor" she pitched a fit. We do not speak any longer and she blocked my e-mails right after GW got elected. Like most lbs, she can't handle the truth.
Yup, Portland has been in the libs hands for a few decades, and it shows. Like it was stated, too bad 'cause it is a beautiful state.

Yeah, I know, they both measure the same but fit different. I really thought twice about posting that. Sounds like I don't have a clue! No offense taken, but I do know how to use calipers.
I just noticed the lightly engraved "4" next to the "2". Anybody know what it means?

L5K: Fortunately, I purchased more than one, and the other fit properly. Maybe the first one is not from an AK-74? I will measure it and post.
They both mic out at .590, but the one fits sloppy loose and the other one is tight. What up with that? The loose one has a "2" on the side, the tight one has a "4".

I have a problem. I purchased some Bulgarian AK74 parts for my 545 conversion. I have read numerous posts on how to install the GB using a press or modified aluninum tube and sledge hammer. Imagine my surprise when the GB just slid over the barrel right into place.
Even after partially installing one pin, the GB is still loose. This cannot possibly be right. Are the Bulgy parts not compatible? -

Hey AZG, where in 123 AZ are you. I am in CG.
CK: On the original FSB, does the barrel stop at the muzzle tube/ FSB joint or does it go all the way through? I am afraid to cut too deep into the muzzle tube and damage the barrel. If you have any pics of the barrel after it is removed, that would be greatly appreciated.

I recently sold a Polish Tantal. I shipped him the gun before I could locate the cleaning rod. I think I have found the rod, but I am not sure if it is the proper one. Can anybody tell me the proper diameter fopr the cleaning rod?
