In before pic it has a magazine lock and a 10 rounds mag. Stupid California crap
-
What is that on the PG?
Stupid California crap. Can't have pistol grip with normal magazines.

New aquisition with 100yards target I shot that past weekend.
-
"IF" that is, that you want the 24mm threads.
Personally if I want to go to the trouble of swapping out the FSB, I would go to 14x1 LH....
...but hey, that's me
I have '47 FSB in the spare parts box. Likely I'll go for the classic look for the next build. I wanted to get functionality with this one.
-
It's a US made 7.62 brake.
-
Oh yeah, that'll be done after shooting to make sure it's straight.

No need to pin it in PRK.
-
Took about 30 minutes or so. Used Dremel to make cuts on each side of the old FSB and then was smacking it with the hammer. Used hammer and a piece of plastic to "install" new FSB.
Overall, easy stuff.

THEY ARE IN BUSINESS!
They charge my card on Monday and I got stock today! It's non-folding, polymer stock. So far I like it.
-
Not the most comfy way, but it's a way not to have maglock and use normal mags
-
Kalifornia legal AK47. No retarded mag lock, normal magazine.
-
I can not have folding stock on my gun. It has to be fixed.
Also $150 is a bit steep for me now.
-
Placed an order with them about a week ago. Got a confrmation emal and nada after that.Trying to get a triangle Krinkov stock.
-
Some more of my Mall-ninjaed Saiga! Gecko45 would be proud!
Just ordered triangle stock, front sight block and a '74 muzzle brake.
Am I overdoing it? LOL

I am a MORON! I was trying to install hammer upside down! Duh! That's what happen when I work without beer.
All is good now. Installed bullet guide and if weather cooperate, I'll be testing rifle this Sunday.

Short spring make sence. It did feel like there isn't enough tension on disconnector. I'll try to pus something in the disconnector holle tomorrow to put a bit more tension on the spring.
-
Did the conversion today. Everything went smooth until G2 set installation.
Here is the problem. When trigger held back after releasing the hammer disconnector holds hammer locked. When releasing the trigger to reset it, hammer is released. I don't think it should be working this way. Ordered 2-stage Arsenal kit. I hope it's a US made one.
Pissed off to no end!

Verynice work!
I plan to paint the plastic on mine when I get it. Krylon Fusion paint works great for that. I think it's fun coming up with a camo pattern!
I wasn't really sure what the hell I was doing. I'll probably will leave it like this for a while and then re-do it.One mistake that I made was that I used fairly thick blue masking tape. Next time I'll go to WalMart and get a stencil film.
This camo job was just a spur of the moment. But now I have a rifle that like no other, so I'm pretty happy.
