  1. Cobra: maybe its just me, but if what your saying is correct, wouldn't we have heard of MD drums braking? They have almost twice as much load on them... Of course maybe i'm just not up to snuff here, i can't even dream of owning one of his drums in NY.

He was talking about AGP mags breaking, NOT MD-20s.

  2. Jump on it Bubba, 'round here now IF you can find one they are $450-$550, plain stock, no frills with one 10 round mag. My wife gave $349 NIB for mine Nov. 19 of last year. Store owner had sold 20 in the three previous days before I got mine and had three left when I picked mine out....if I had only known, I would have picked all three up!!! Mine is really startin to look good with all the goodies that "mama" is forcing me to pick up to as she says "pimp it out" LOL

Okay so I bought it last night. This is a real nice rifle! How long can I keep it until Obama takes it away from me?

I dunno.......how much ammo you got?

  3. Fuck, I think my only complaint is that I don't make enough to feed my S-17, and yes Mike and Tony are GRRRRREAT. No I have no affiliation with either but was smart enough to do my homework and order from the best. Thanks Mike for the wonderful drum and will be waiting patiently for my second (dumbass me forgot to order more than one first go around).

My drum didn't cycle federal value pack stuff reliably.

Everything else worked fine. I don't normally buy the federal stuff, so I just didn't buy anymore. Problem solved.

ETA: It was only a box of it. I have a RAA that has the welded-on 0,0 choke. It originally only had 3 ports, so I I drilled a fourth port in it. It always works well, and I only shot that one box of federal.

  4. Doing it with AGPs is easy because the halves are screwed together. Use two mags and unscrew them. Cut one half of a mag shorter than the other then do the opposite with the other mag. That way you'll be able to screw the half of one to the other half of the other mag. You splice them together.

Heres a crude MS paint pic I made to illustrate:
