    I want a free conversion, and all I did on the 4th of July was inventory my ammo because the power in my area had been out until July 3rd, so they cancelled the fireworks that are normally up the street from me. I had to cancel my party, and tell all my friends that they should catch fireworks somewhere else this year.

    i love all the posts of how there is " NO POSSIBLE DOWNSIDE" other than wait lists ( which are indeed a mild annoyance) and the outrageous cost (2k for a saiga12 ??!?!?!?!?!?!)

     

    but you have got to be constantly filing forms with the ATF, sorry but to like 95% of people thats a pretty serious downside. i don't exatly want to fax a road map to my house every few years to the ATF. i get the dealers who don't care because they are already on the super short list in terms of undesireables to be eliminated but how about the other 90 million gun owners

    WTS my Snap-On Torqometer, Model TE 75-FU.

     

    It is old, but in NEW condition. NEVER used. Excellent chrome, and reads up to 75 FTlbs.

     

    Still has case(also in excellent condition), instructions, an its old warranty card.

     

    It is 1/2 drive.

     

    I hate to sell it, but I totally forgot I had it. That means I will probably never use it. I have had it for about 12 years, so I guess that is a pretty safe bet.

     

    This is a really nice, quality tool that you can count on.

    I have 2 slightly used, and in perfect condition MD arms 20rd drums.

     

    By used I mean put in the gun once to make sure they fit.

     

    Never fired, and never had to fit them to my gun in any way. They are how I got them from MD Arms.

     

    I have two for $85 bucks each shipped.

    I saw the title and I saw the author, and I knew from that what this thread was about!

     

    ....BUT, it'll be a couple years. I don't know if they will grand MD's request to delay the implications of this ruling until their appeals are done.

     

    In the meantime, I think I will apply anyway, and attach an addendum including a certified copy of the ruling.

     

    Allow me to be the Killjoy here.

     

    This is all for naught if come November Obama is re-elected.

    He will almost certainly get at least one, if not more, appointments to the US Supreme Court.

    They will immediately castrate the 2A by defining it's language.

    They will find we have no Right to individual ownership/possession, that this is reserved for 'Well Regulated Militia'.

    Which will likely be reserved for, Law Enforcement, Military/National Guard and of course Obama's Civilian Defense Force.

     

    Then they will ratify the UN's Small Arms Treaty and enforce it.

    We will be forcibly disarmed and enslaved.

     

    I no longer have hope for return to the Country we knew, to the Founding Fathers vision and Constitution.

    We have fallen far from the path of Righteousness before God, we are no longer favored and will now be destroyed.

     

    There are many USSC cases asserting and individual right to bare arms, INCLUDING the 1939 Miller case and the Dredd Scott decision.

     

    Furthermore, there are millions of people who won't stand for it, and thats out of the millions more who will not do anything about it.

     

    If only we could get any kind of CC in Illinois it would be a victory here.

    Your barrel MAY come out that easy, it may be a LOT harder. The tolerances are large enough that some will be easy, and some will be a total BITCH!

     

    So humor me for a minute, and lets say that this one will come out easy like that. Can I leave the gas assembly attached to the barrel and seperate it as a whole from the reciever?

    Why are you powder coating it?

     

    That would be a pretty thick finish.

     

    Requires pretty high heat also.

     

    Try Cerama-coat. My small oven can fit a stripped S12 in it if hung diagonally.

     

    Its your gun though. Might turn out pretty sweet.

    I placed an order for 10 at Izhevsk - paid today. and put 40 more on hold for future purchases if there is a need for that many

     

    shipping them in US will be a major hold up - anything more than 5 at a time is viewed by Russian customs as commercial shipment and custom dues are up to the roof, so it will take time smile.png
