  1. They made numerous mistakes calling the 37mm a "m203" and "grenade luncher" over and over. They paid $1500 for a 2-300 dollar flare launcher... They may want to check local laws on discharge of firearms and fireworks, i know its not legal in city limits here.

They dident know how to build a m2 .50 cal, and dident know how to adjust the buffer to make it run properly. Then made themselfs look bad by allowing a show on it. Not good for an 07FFL.

The cannon show they admitted to breaking laws. He said he rigged the building with tannerite the night before. Because of the legal loophole that allows us to use tannerite, you have to use it at the time of mixing, otherwise you have to meet storage requirements. IE explosive permit and storage magazine or bunker. You cant leave that stuff sitting arround mixed.

The guys at red jacket should be a little more careful, your drawing the wrong kind of attention.

    They bought the whole rifle/launcher.

I still don't think it was a good deal.

  2. Talking about it is just a dream.

Even asking them to won't do anything.

Magpul is full of gun-saavy people, and there is really nothing you can mention that they should make that they haven't thought of and dismissed already.

If they want to make one, you will not hear about it until they are being sold.

That is their policy. No more product announcements.

They are not as big of a company as most people think.

Last I heard CProducts was considering an S12 mag.

Yeah, the most you will get out of Magpul on product announcement is Drake leaving a " ;) " in response to a post asking if/when something is coming out, lol. Makes sense, though. They got tired of giving out approximate release dates for things, and then people hounding them relentlessly if said product wasn't released on that very day.

As for CProducts.....meh. They fall into the group of companie's products of "I'll wait for other people to buy them and test them out, before I even consider it". Seems like they've released a few items that probably could have gone through more testing before they hit customer's hands.

A couple things, yeah.... but they have top-notch CS, and handle problems very quickly.

  4. Well, I got mine today.

EXACTLY like the FBMG mags of course..... and in my experience thats a good thing. Love the floor plates, and I will be buying them and spring guides for my other mags.

Uinta Industries: There was one thing I mentioned when FBMG was producing them.

In order to limit wobble, change the locking tab angle like so:

    UintaMag2.jpg

I made a metal clip for one of my old mags that wrapped around the sides of the tab, and added more to the locking surface and it mad the mag wobble way less. The only thing was that i had to drill a small hole in the tab, and it weakened the tab enough that eventually broke off.

It was good while it lasted though.

    Just a suggestion.

  5. If Mike D. gets his double stack mag concept birthed and out to market, this might be a possible further development - though it wouldn't be the size or shape of an MD-20. AK drum mags are single stack for a reason. If you were to make a double stack drum, it'd be a double drum - each stack feeds from one of the drums. Just like a C-mag.

It'd be twice the size.. just like Shandlanos said.. it'd work like a C-mag.

edit: thinking about AK drums though... I wonder if it would be possible to make a multi-rotation drum that winds up and would hold a couple of rounds in each channel of the sprocket like the AK drums. Something you'd set the follower and load from the back.

It would be damn heavy though.

Its called "helical sweep" IIRC, and I believe that Chaos was designing their drum like that.

  6. I just wish he would find a way to sell the Vepr 12 gas system and bolt carrier(or just the piston from one)

Fuck all this gas plug shit. I really like the gas system on the Vepr 12. Its sort of like the HK416 in the way it regulates gas, but on a shotgun.

  7. It's about 140 shipped & 16 of that is shipping.

    It's cheaper to buy multiples...

But the best part is, RUSSIAN MAGWELLS & MAGWELL MAGS ARE IN STOCK TOO!!!!!!!!!! :super:

Better jump on that shit before Saigatech & Tex-zen buy them out!

I think there is some S12 price gouging goin on that site....looking at some of the S12 furniture and comparing it to the AK stuff....ridiculous

So....you know somewhere else to get REAL Izzy-made stuff???

    Like this tula S12 regulator?

  8. Cameron,

I plan to reintroduce the Tromix Rifle lineup that was discontinued a couple of years ago and I need some sort of cool-ass hand guard for it. CSS built the correct heigth HK front sight towers, so that problem is gone, but I really need a hand guard to round-out the package. If you build it, I will make it a standard item that is part of every model rifle we build.

    Tony Rumore

    Tromix

    Thats incentive right there.
