    Has anyone sold a Saiga [converted 922 Compliant] ...mailed it off..only to run into a FFL dealer that is not in the know of Converted Saigas...Refused to trans it..because they are afraid they are not legal??..I suppose the Gunsmith that did the work could supply the Invoice as to what work was done...US parts etc....

    What do you guys do that did the conversion yourself???

    Hell..I've even had Dimwits tell me the 410 with External threads for factory chokes were not legal..

     

    It would seem that the pre-req for a FFL holder would be at least to know what the hell the law in their state actually restricts...& doesn't..

    I can't find where LA..the Cajun State has any such restrictions...

    Anybody had this problem???

    Gees!.. I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to come up with that one.....

     

    NO....& neither is Blatant disregard...I was stating a fact that Some will not be easy to locate..Would forgiving an Incompetent Custum Inspector for allowing the pass into the country be in order??.

    DEfense/prosecution could be argued forever....I imagine that is reason for the ATF to want it taken care of asap..

     

    I'm pretty sure that the old.."Gee whiz,Your Honor!...I'm too stupid to know that it was against the law" defene will work on this either..

    I would not want to be caught with one...Most probably..a very expensive adventure..:-)

    They are sadly mistaken if they really believe all the guns will go back. There are going to be a few that were sold person-to-person after initially going through a dealer, where the S/N tracability is forever lost. Those guns will not be going back and their whereabouts is unknown. There is no way around that.

     

     

    ..I agree with Tony...In most Free states that i know of..a gun owner is allowed to sell any of his personal collection to anyone he/she pleases wo/ PW or even having to keep a record of the transaction.(.Even a FFL can after a year in possesion}As far as the barrel being a "Might Short"..It was bought & sold in good faith wo ANY criminal intent in mind.. & therefore hard to prove & justify any criminal action..or prosecution.There will most probably be Serious collectors that consider the 17"+ Saigas that "Flew under the radar " of Custums to be a Collectors piece..& hoard a few....One reason why the ATF "Nasty Boyz"..wann'a hastily get this thing out'a'the way..Cuz..Some will NEVER be found... :ph34r:

     

    Now I don't wann'a hear "hell..StarLynx sez we can get away with wave'n one finger @ the ATF Nasty Boys/Girlz Crew"...Cuz...That's NOT what I'm say'n.... :smoke:

    Telly...I might have it on one of my other PCs'...It was last year..Mid 05 or so...Their Search page only goes back 30 days..Maybe the archives..(ArfCom)..the guy or company do'n it had a web page with a video dipicting him shooting the LIL 1187P..w/the Knox add on....He even had one that was a SBS..that would sling under a coat....Changed the Buffer in the stock thing so that it would accomadate a Pistol Grip...Seems like it was located in Arizona....I'll look on the other pc if it's bookmarked....

    The pic posted was a guy in a tux bump firing the Little shorty Remy auto..

    OUTSTANDING FeedBack for "Doc" TRITIUM...Great guy to do biz with...would not hesitate doing any other biz with em....Pays quicker'n Greased owl pookee... :super:

     

    Hope ya Luv'er as much as I have!!...Still have'n Tear attacks about parting with er!!..I'll probably never find another 410 that shoots like that one!!..

    Ok..Sorry to have not been posting to this..& no price listing.. :killer:

     

    I'll sell it wo the 2 ten rd mags for $375 shipped OBO..

    With Ten rd mags $475..

    + I will donate $25 to the forum..if it sells thru here to a member..NO PayPal please..cuz I got $15 I been try'n to give to the forum in there..& they're be'n stingy with it..(Try'n ta close it out)..

     

    Also..to the ones asking for the 19" BHO converted S12 with factory chokes & 8rd mags ..not for sdale yet..unless somebody offers me something I can't turn down.. :unsure:
