    I still say sue them.

     

    When cops are charged with enforcing a law and don't even have a clue (ie-aks are illegal) they deserve to be sued so that they will not make such a moronic mistake again.

     

    I worked for many a year training cops and if one ever made as stupid a claim as "ak's are illegal" they'd be riding a damned desk until they could recite the approriate section of code.

     

    Actually, do sue them

    Perhaps by AK's are illegal they meant, considering the season, or due to mag capacity (i believe they are limited to 5rds). We don't know since we weren't there...sue them anyways though it'll teach 'em a lesson...the lesson is, no matter what, whenever anyone's butt gets hurt they'll try to sue you.

    "When a requested accommodation would result in a fundamental alteration or undue burden, the police or law enforcement agency must take any other action it can to ensure that communication with you is as effective as possible. For example, it may be impossible to provide interpreter services when a police officer stops your car for a routine traffic violation. The police officer should take any other action possible to communicate effectively with you, such as exchanging written information with you."

     

    Essentially as long as you can communicate there isn't an issue. Now if you were arrested, being interviewed, or issued a search warrant or whatever then it is up to YOU to request an interpreter and it is up to the state to provide one.

     

    In indiana you can hunt deer with a shotgun, however in indianapolis if you discharge a firearm within the city limits then you go to jail. Indianapolis is in the center of indiana. I think the blame here falls on you for not checking your local ordinances. Trying to sue the police is utterly ridiculous. It sucks you got a ticket, but man up and pay it. Next time check your local ordinances before you go hunting or stay where you know it's OK.

    I purchased a blackthorn m92 kit, a KVAR russian poly folder, and a 74ullc receiver. I'm currently talking to rifle dynamics about the build. Can't wait. It will have russian markings for "safe", "fire", and "full auto" all in russian. Unfortunately there will be no full auto but it will still be awesome. The 74ullc costs twice as much as the Nodak but you get a lot more too.

    You guys are making me laugh the 109's were always intended for a sporting use that is why there is a adjustable gas system, different types of shell for hunting differant animals that is why it is adjustable. The 030 and 040 are a tactical weapon, only ment to shoot full power loads of buckshot and slugs there is no reason to shoot cheap wal-mart ammo thru a 030. If you are going to pay $1500 for a gun that needs converted buy the good ammo. whats going to happed is some of you wil drill out the ports to allow the low power shell to operate the gun then you will shoot some high power ammo and wonder how you cracked your carrier or broke you gas rod and whine that these new guns are junk when it happens. But in the end it is your gun "Bubba it" and how you want. JMO

     

     

     

    As stated in the video after 6:20 the shotgun fires with all known types of 12 ga. cartridges. That would suggest that it can shoot anything you feed it. You imply there are 2 loads: full power and cheap walmart. The difference between shotgun ammo and any other ammo is there is a wiiiiiiiide power range from weak to strong. If there is no self gas adjustment for the 030, and you can't control it on the operator side, then the amount of gas cycling the bolt will change with the round used. I don't want to use a gun designed to fire only 2 3/4 federal flight control low recoil ammo and find when i use remington 3" slugs i blow the rear trunion out. I'm not upset that i can't shoot birdshot, i'm confused as to how it can say "shoots anything" with no gas regulator when even the 109 with a regulator usually can't shoot everything. I don't want to damage a $1500 gun or find that i can only use one specific 12 ga round.

    I figured there'd be a better gas system solution than the 109's. I assumed it'd be similar to a permanently attached "auto plug". I'm not sure i'm that into this now. Seems everything is a step forward and the gas system is a step backwards.

    from the picture it looks as though the barrel thickens keeping the retainer from sliding, though i may be looking at the wrong side. Is there any info on a true 030 gas system that we can compare this one to? I hope it off gasses the excess.

    I'm guessing greg let you borrow his time warp...got my shirts in 1 day. Outstanding! The only problem is they were both for me and i ordered one as an extra large instead of large. I wasn't expecting them to arrive so fast so my XL will be a present for a friend and i'll just order another large later.
