  2. Hello, I've been a member here for a while, but it's been years since I've posted anything. If a reintroduction is wanted, I'm a 32 year old guy living with his wife and German shepherd in the hinterlands of northwestern Pennsylvania. I have been looking for a 7.62x39 bullet guide and have had no luck finding anyone who has them in stock. Is this just a waiting game, or is it even a necessary item (I recently read that newer saigas might already have a built-in bullet guide)? Thanks in advance.
  3. I'm going to see if they'll do a price match or at least a negotiation. If not, I have other interests in that store that are more reasonably priced, and they'll get nothing else out of me ever after.

  5. Is $700 really that bad a price? It's the first Saiga 12 I've seen in my area. If I cancel the layaway, the only thing I come away with is $375 store credit at this point. SHould I just tell 'em I found a better price and load up on ammo, or what?
  6. Hello, In a recent impulsive decision, I put a Saiga 12 on layaway, even though it was $700. It's the first one I've seen in my area (Western PA). It's still cheaper than an AR . Anyway, I'm not sure whether I'm going to convert it, as money is a bit tight right now. I like the feel of the factory stock, but am not crazy about the trigger. I have been looking for an inexpensive compliance part that will let me use hi-cap mags.
