first off ive done a conversion to a S12, bult an AMD 65, a couple of romanians, a polish UF, and a bulgarian 74. im looking into getting a .223 to add a differnet caliber. is there a way to make the .223 work with unmodified mags? it seems there are several mags that work with some grinding or jb weld or several different things. i would rather modify the gun rather than the mags. or would it be simpler to just modify the mags. i dont care if the factory 10rder never works with it again. why do the mags require modification?

i guess not alot of people are running axis/ hammer & trigger pin retainers in there gun.

i have heard that they require fiting to work with the s12. how does it work when there is kinda a shelf where my selector lever goes into. meaning the axis pin holes are on a different plane than the hole that the selector lever goes into.

hello, well i started my conversion several moths ago. i just parked it and am reassymbling everything. i have used e clips on several other builds but they do not fit the saiga pins very well. they have some spop and allow the pins to move a little bit. is there a way to reuse the original retainer spring from the saiga. to tell ya the truth i do not even remember how the old spring was in there. this is the last thing i need to do to shoot it. i took it straight out of the box and started hacking it up and have never shot it. any pics would be a great help.

i want one to look like the 12K. i have a mill and lathe and such. just wondering if its been done. where would i find a forarm at.

i am going to orders some norells to redo some ar's and figured id go with some to for my saiga that im getting ready to do. i have a AMD 65 and a bulgarian kit to do also. so my question is what color should i go with. im guessind semi-gloss black for the AK's and Saiga? oh well any input on colors? Norells is not a must. im going to order some Lauer Duracoat soon too. so to you that have done it before which would ya choose. how much should i order. i need to do the receivers of 4 ak's? im going to park under teh ones that i can take apart. thanks kevin

Which one would be better for my S-12 conversion. IM 5'7". I know its an owners preferance thing but i dont have any experiance with either. So which one do yall prefer? Is there any other butpads to put on than the grenade pad? I dont much care for slip overs. is there one that goes through the original holes in teh bac k like a regular pad?

i want to put a handguard on my 12 like the one on the 12k on the homepage. i think it flows better than what is on it now. has anyone done this. if so what doner handguard did you use and how did you acomplish this?

i just bought it 3 hours before my flight. it went into the safe. ive been searching teh gunshops from kentucky to alabama for mags. i have bought 2 rurger 10/22's for the wife and a .410 coach for fun. when i get back i have to get all the stuff to convert it over to PG.

That is the one. The right side is the part that holds the brass base of the shell. the catches seem to line up with each other. i wont be able to check it out till i get home, april 16th. its a very simple design. 2 peices tacked together. the folower is all bent metal

shooter2, It looks to be for the IZH-81. The barcode sticker on the pouch reads IZH81 12GA 3" 5 RDS MAGAZINE. Are there any intrest in these guns. were many imported.

not right now. im away from my house on vacation. im hitting up all teh gunstores around for mags. so far ive gotten one for $16 one $26 and one for $21. The mag is 2 peice steel welded together. it has a steel follower. it looks to come strait out of the magwell insted of angled like the s12. i dont have my saiga here to see if it would work. it looks like it would. it seems to be a 5 rounder, but no shells.

i just bought a mag yseterday that was sposed to be a s12. it was new in wrap and that was how i was going to keep it. when i picked it up and another mag in my other hand this one was heavier. so i opened it up and found a baikal steel mag. what does this go to? how much are they worth? thanks
