  1. Thanks for all the replies. After reading them and the Bulgarian mag thread that Nalioth linked, I am slapping my forehead and realizing that Dinzag's 223 mag info sheet does actually cover the bases and apparently nothing has changed much since it was written. I just had trouble recognizing that one of the mags in it was the same as the ones I was looking at buying. I noticed a link to Israeli Orlite mags at Numrich in the other thread. They are around the same price new, significantly cheaper used, and hold 35 rounds. How do those compare to the Bulgarians? The Bulgarians have metal
  2. A longer barrel is not inherently better for accuracy. However, for your hunting purposes I would probably choose the 20" anyway, for the extra velocity.
  3. VERY useful info, thanks! So, if I understand correctly, those mags would work fine with (1) a bullet guide and (2) I may or may not have to remove some metal tab at the rear of the magwell? The linked mags are about the same price as Surefires (black also available for same price). I already have a bullet guide kit but haven't installed it. Since price is basically the same for me, which ones (Arsenal vs. Surefire) are a better bet in terms of reliability and durability?   4. Hello- I have a Saiga .223 that I'm planning to convert (922r compliant, etc.). I am still debating what mags to set it up for, and that is my question here. I understand that I can use Surefires without a bullet guide (easy) but then nothing else would work other than OEM Saiga mags.
