I have to agree with Guido. The full power LE-127 00 buck is the most impressive stuff I have seen. Very hot load.
+1 for the LE127 full power loads!

Benelli M2 SBS - something about those shotty's for upfront CQB power:
14"
ghost ring sites
pistol grip

Been looking over the videos and topics on 20 round drums, i think its safe to say that the battle is between MD arms and Alliance Arms, My question to the forum is does anyone have a preference? If so what would be the reason?
MD20 has worked flawlessly! Check out the MD20 ammo table thread for the right ammo!

That's the good info i was looking for great list.
Post #26 above has the most recent update to the table. Can the mods make some note in post #1 explaining that the date in the file name will denote the most recent update?
-
kwesi, thanks for your time & effort on this!
Just a suggestion.... you may want to put the most recent chart in the first post.
As this thread grows to multiple pages over time, it will be easier to get the updated chart at the top of the first page.
That and I hope one of the mods will move this thread to a sticky in Mike's section.
EDIT:
These should be marked as confirmed for not fitting:
Wolf 00 (very close, but no cigar)
NobleSport LE 12 pellet 00
Thanks Spartacus: I don't seem to have the ability to edit the first post so I started assigning the date of the update in the file name. Here is the up to date MD 20 ammo table which include your two confirmations as well as a few other's.

Michael: how is the recoil with that metal stock??
Scott: I've only had it out once but it seemed fine to me but I don't have anything to compare it to.

be sure to stay long enough for it to get dark...the fireballs are hysterical.
Well, I got to the range tonight along with forum member kwesi. All I can say is that this thing is a HAND CANNON!!!! Wow. The fireballs that this thing spits out are amazing, LOL! When kwesi fired it, I was standing about six feet behind him, and I could feel the heat and concussion from the deafening blasts. This thing is some serious fun!!!
We fired about 30-40 rounds through it without a hitch. Most of them were fed through Bulgy circle 10's and a few from a chineese 5 rounder.
Accuracy isn't going to win any competition, and she shoots to the right quite a bit. I'm pretty confident I could hit center of bad guy at 50 yards. Even if I didn't hit him, he would most likely still be on fire :lolol:
The compensator that I have on it was a little pricey, but I couldn't believe how well it did reducing recoil. We fired a few shots each sitting, standing with the (overly complicated) single point sling, and a few standing without the sling. At 15-25 yards all of the shots were well within the silhouette.
As I stated earlier, I'm pretty disappointed that the sights are still off even after returning it, BUT I am very happy with this little shooter.
Thanks Moe..that was fun...and you know how much I love fireballs! The guys next to us were firing the same round but through a longer barrel but you wouldn't have known it. Very little recoil, loud and bright!

Why did Arsenal put a 90 degree GB on it, along with the threaded FSB?
Cobra: from the owners manual " SAS M-7 was created to be an exact duplicate of current issue Bulgarian model AR-M1F. It is authentic in material and construction from black polymer furniture to the vertical gas block and underfolder".
+1 on more ammo; wish I had the ability to build em myself!
-
Thanks PA: why do some of the members hate Arsenal's? I got this on the advice of a good buddy. Manual states only 200 made & from select parts. Not why I got it but it sure feels like quality.

Kwesi. Are the sites straight (aka 90 deg) ? and is the front site block (FSB) threaded (I see a brake and it looks FAT aka 24mm type).
From the pics I'd say YES to both items. IMHO.
Yes the sights are straight 100 - 800 m and the flash hider is removable!
-
beatiful rifle. Does it have a ak74 fsb and 90 degree gasblock?
being new to AK's I don't understand what you are asking or how to check.

Thanks guys! I picked up the Bulgarian waffle from KVAR to cover 2 US parts.

Winchester 2.75 1600fps rifled slugs work in MD20, factory 5 and AGP 10
Brenneke 1 oz rifled slug KO, 2.75 works in the above mags
winchester 3 inch #4 steel shot super X works in all but MD 20
Federal 3 in OO buck shot mag works in all but MD 20
Remington and Federal 7 1/2 shot bulk packs 2.75 works in all mags above
Remington # 8 shot 2.75 worked in all (I think this was also bulk pack)
Green hull, olin, winchester military grade OO buck 2.75, works in all mags
not sure if you have all or any of those, but they are all member verified
Thanks! I updated the table for the ones we did not already have - see table two posts above. I'll wait to see if anyone confirms or adds to the current table then I add another update.
-
New Updated MD20 table attached. We need to hear confirmation on the existing ammo + add some new ones!
I've updated the table with a few additions. I'm going to include the date of the update in the file name starting with this one. Anyone have more updates to add?

I won't forget the confused looks on their faces as they glanced into the truck bed and tried to figure out what those 3 guns were! They did give us their weekly schedule to come back tough. Although your father-in-law was not able to shoot I'll bet he'll enjoy lot's of comments at the bar for some time!
I still think the rules should have made a few of the guys stand back a few feet given the length of their barrels ;-).
MD Arms V-Plug: Does anyone have these in stock?
