  1. Yeah have a few different Marbles rings out in the shop, but haven't figured out an easy way to mod them - at least on a production scale. They will fit, but it will take a sharp edge needle file.

Thanks for sharing the info guys!

  2. Thanks Dr. Thunder.

SS - We're not a manufacturer & we do not receive firearms for work. You can send in the FSB for rework to sit rearward on the barrel & free up realestate to thread the muzzle of the rifle & we supply drills & pins for reinstall. $35.

  3. Saigaslinger, have you sent any emails to dinzzag@yahoo.com? We have had supplier issues but the 308 FCG's we have plenty of inventory. I would like to touch base with you & look up your order. Figure out what's going on. We need your email address or order # or something we can search with.

I try to reply to everyone within a day or so, even if I'm on the road. We try to keep the emails covered, as many folks don't understand our turn around times - see terms & conditions page. This is how we have always conducted business and I'm more than happy to refund anybody 100% at any time.

For others who have emailed and received errors, is the address above the one you've sent to? - with 2 z's in it? Most of the time that 2nd "z" gets left off. I've searched the links in the site & do not see any typo's or anything out of line. We've had this very same email address for 8+ years.

The only reason I knew to look here was another customer giving me a heads up. I rarely have time to break away & surf all the forums & try to make it clear my direct email is the best contact method - rather than posting on various forums.

  4. i just ordered some stuff from dinzag and ill agree that they have quality/rare items but i did not receive my full order and have yet to be contacted about it after writing 2 emails and for some sketchyyyy reason their is no phone number that i can contact them at???, i bought the 4 piece laminate set from their website and they never gave me a pistol grip, so im only writting this to forewarn you guys that you might get ripped off like i did nd spend an extra 20 dollars on an item that might not even exist.. if they do contact me and this is settled then ill let you guys no how it goes but i didnt want anyone to read the others peoples comments and think this is a completely trustworthy site and yes im aware it could be an accident but thats where we will see i guess, and please dont delete this because it is not meant to be a mean or discriminating post just merely to inform our fellow saiga lovers that they could be scammed out of money.

    akizzle47,

Sent you ship notification for the missing grip & a reply to your two emails from Thursday the 20th @ 11:46pm & 11:56pm.

At least you gave me 20 minutes to reply to your email before coming on here, I'll try to be a little quicker on the draw next time. If we did have our private phone # posted, would you have called at that hour and expected someone to answer?

Took the wifey & kids on a little vacation for a few days, as we posted on the home page of the site. You may have missed that when you were looking for the phone #.

Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused and as always you can ship the stuff back for a refund, no problem.

If you need anything else, shoot me an email.

  5. ...Two small issues that detract from it's perfection and neither is particularly negative, both are just observations.

1: It's very functional but I think it could have been more cleanly put together. I've seen another smith do the same thing without the blobby weld lines. I don't care one bit personally on mine but it looks like it can be a smoother...I'm not a welder so I might be talking out of my ass, but mine is kind of rough looking and the other you couldn't see any welds at all. It stood out some when the S12 was parked, but now that it's duracoated you can't see it on a practical level.

That top pic as looks pretty horrid. Should have gave me a shout! When we first started doing them we'd fill & smooth any pin holes/depressions before duracoating. If you had it stripped & parked, that material is long gone. Also parking generally doesn't give a consistant finish over welded areas with dissimiliar metals. I like to run stainless in there as the base parts have all kinds of nasties that like to come out. The last year or so we've been doing them totally different. While it takes much longer, the end result is very clean. Just perfecting the process.

2: The rear sight leaf did not have any tension on it and would flop up and down all the time. A friend spot welded it in place to keep it from floppy, and so now the sight isn't adjustable...but that doesn't matter on a shotgun obviously and again, personally I don't care. Its a minor issue and doesn't affect function.

I use mine with slugs, very handy for elevation. If that leaf was flopping around, you can tweak the spring back into shape or just replace it, easy fix. Might have gotten over-compressed when it was stripped for parking. Again, you should have gave me a shout. Don't like to see unhappy campers.

BTW - that's a beautiful build there, nice work!

    I appreciate your business!

  6. Sorry for the dated install instructions. I'll try to get that updated.

Generally you want to push it back until it stops, but some of these flat trunnions have a really deep cut.

Ideally the guide should be positioned where the relief sits under the barrel and the rest of it sits in front of the barrel. As you seen though it will work either way.

  7. Sounds like you got it figured out, but if you have any other probs, shoot me an email & we'll get you fixed up.

Don't make it on here as much as I'd like.

True, there are a couple 308's that have popped up over the years that have a larger barrel. - oversize 308 retainer info -

I think smitty12b was just recently. Cobra has a heavy barreled 308 as well.

Gas tubes - Unissued ones are rare and we lose a lot due to either damage, being too short or too rusty. We pick the best ones we can get our hands on try to ensure they are nice & snug fitting.

  8. I ordered a muzzle brake and forward site Jan 1st and have been sent no email regarding a shipping order being sent or have not obviously been sent my purchased items. I did receive a receipt via email though is all.

The FSB's are pre-order. We just finished a run last week so we figured we'd ship it all together.

Should be in your hands shortly.

We only pack & ship weekends, order processing is 1-2 weeks avg. Just me & the wifey.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Brian
