  1. I agree with Cobra on the sticky followers. I use easy-slide in all my Saiga mag bodies. (dry lube - bowling product) My S-20 would not load the last one in the mag.

I had a similiar problem when I first got the 410 and loaded 2 1/2" shells in the 3" mag. They would slide forward and hold the follower down.

I was wanting to pick up a 10 rounder and was hoping the 2 1/2"ers would feed for you. Let us know when you get 'er freed up a little & see if the 2 1/2"ers will go. (I inherited lots-o-2 1/2" ammo can ya tell)

    I'd buy 2 in a heartbeat if I knew they'd be reliable.

  2. StarLynx & Jaffa Killer, I got an email from Oleg stating that the 10 rounders will take either 2 1/2" or 3" shells. Maybe I should have asked if they will FEED 2 1/2" shells.

Once you have shot them a little & broke 'em in, please post results on how they're feeding the 2 1/2"ers. Jaffa Killer - have you had any get caught feeding into the chamber or just the bolt missing the next one in the mag?

    Thanks!

  3. I tried to turn the follower around in my 3" mag, but it binds. On mine the mag body has channels or guides to match up with the follower. (on the long sides) When you turn it around, the channels do not line up. It starts in from the bottom and binds 1/2 way up. Maybe a little sanding would free it up???

Anyone else experience this? This 3" mag came with the gun and it's an '03 model.

  4. Minor with mine...I've blasted up about 80 rounds of steel so far and had one misfeed and one fail to eject. Primer was struck but didn't go off. The misfed round got crushed and I couldn't reload it, but the dented primer one went off fine when I put it back in. No problems with Remington or Winchester plastic hulls.

My 410 is an '03 model.

  5. See, this is why I like this site, you guys are willing to help poor noobes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I is one myself... :smoke: BTW I got an email from Oleg at Rusmilitary last night. All 10 round 410 mags take both 2 1/2" & 3" shells. Also 20 gauge & 12 gauge mags are due in at the end of June.

  6. If you have any Dunham's Sporting Goods stores in the area, look-up phone #'s on their website, call gun dept & ask if they have any left. Last week I found several S-410's and a couple S-20's. If you get the right guy he will deal with you. Ones around here were $199 or less...(Reg $229?)

  7. Hi there. I'm new and i'd love to get some 10 rounders so i'd really appreciate it if somebody could post a link to

BTW - they have 10 round 410 mags in stock, but are sold out of 10 round 20 gauge and 8 round 12 gauge. I don't think you can get 10's for the S-12...yet...unless it's a hand-built unit.

  8. I'll bet you $10 that when you go to Dunhams with cash-in-hand, ready to buy, they will be unable to order you a Saiga shotgun of any kind even though there is a picture of one in their wholesale catalog.

I bought an S-20 last week at Dunhams - McUZI is right. They are limited to stock on hand and cannot order any until the new importer comes online. Two stores I visited here in Michigan were taking names for when that does happen. One of the other locations said they may not even deal with RAA as they have an agreement with EAA for their guns. Take that for what it's worth though, some know their stuff and others do not.

  9. Hey all - newbie here. Did some state-wide searching & found a S-20. I picked her up last Thursday at Dunhams for $179.99. It came with 2 mags. They were $229 originally and reduced to $199. Then the guy knocked off another 10%.

I bought a S-410 about 4 months ago and started reading up on them. That's when I found this kick a$$ site! I've been lurking for awhile so I decided to register & contribute.
