This Barska is the firsrt optic on a firearm...I wanted to have some magnification and reach out to the full 100 yards...I might look at the techsights as they look cool.

Yes, I think I made a great shot at 120 or so yards. After not seeing a damned thing all season, I saw a newborn deer and post-birth aborted it! The mom dragged it around for quite some time by the umbilical cord, then I shot the cord in half so I could get my tiny newborn deer. I was hungry, so I just ate the whole thing right there!
I don't care that was AWESOME...lol

Hey look at it this way it is more challenging to hit a smaller target especially with such a great placed shot. What was the situation and distance? If you say bait pile I might lose some respect for the kill, but eat it if ya kill it, usually works.
