Anyone try any of the federal le127 low recoil slugs in the vepr? I have one on order and happen to have several hundred rounds of this stuff in the safe and was hoping it would work, I have the 00 buck as well. Anyone have this ammo willing to try it for me? Thx!

I guess my suspicion was correct then. Good to know. Has your come loose after adding the Loctite?

I wanted to be sure that it wasn't going to loosen. In hindsight, I think I would give it a go without the loctite. When I first put the nut and brake on, I had to back the brake off a little to get the ports pointed up. When I then tightened the nut, it was tight but you were still with relative ease able to back the brake off more than I liked which had me thinking it would eventually loosen. Now, I think you would need to really go to town with a wrench to get it off. Not necessarily a bad thing I guess!

good to know for the future. I figured with this thing on a 12ga you wanted tighter than tight. Once I had it where I wanted it, I couldnt get it to budge! Anyone using the mini monster that can comment on its performance?

I just installed the mini monster along with the barrel nut with some loctite as well. Everything went well however it apears the holes on top of brake might be a degree out of level, if that. just looking at it it is very hard to notice. My problem is that the damn thing is really on tight and I can't get it to easily move. Are there any functionality issues that could arise from it being canted the slightest bit? I'm thinking probably not, just wanted to hear the experts advice???? thanks!

Anyone know what the most reliable consistant cycling low recoil slugs and buckshot are? I'm considering the federal le, winchester ranger and possibly the fiocchi low recoil. s12 has 3 clean ports and a gun fixers plug and etac standard gas puck. thanks for the help, just trying to make the best guess before I order in bulk. nobody sell this stuff locally.

just curious but if you can get a standard size paper clip through all three holes is that clean enough? just not sure how big or clear the hloes need to be? Thanks

Are the winchester winlite rifled slugs any good?

Just picked up a new production S12 with the three ports. I'm installing the etac gas piston and gunfixers plug. Anyone have any good bulk ammo recomendations that will cycle good? I was thinking about the wolf 2 3/4 slugs and wolf 00 8 pellet buck. Anyone using this stuff and how does it cycle? ALso, anyone having any luck with any of the low recoil stuff? Thanks.
